Trip to Bangladesh v England, Trent Bridge, Nottingham, Thu 8 Jul
Hello all,
I am planning on organising a trip to Trent Bridge, Nottingham for the 1st ODI between Bangladesh and England if people here are interested. This is a day/night match, starting at 14:30 on Thursday 8th Jul. I will be hiring a 7-seater which will leave from a certain point in London (possibly somewhere from East End) at around 10am. If in an unlikely scenario we get around 13/14 people, I will hire two 7 seaters, just need a volunteer driver for the second car.
Ticket for the match can be purchased from Trent Bridge website or ticketmaster, costing from £35-£40. The trip will cost around £18-£20. Train would have cost you around £30 plus the station is not near Trent Bridge.
If you are interested, please let me know here or PM me. I would need the payment for the trip upfront so that I can go ahead and book the car. You can buy your own match ticket or if you'd like to pay me, I could buy it for you.
Thanks
Roni

I dont live in Eng, so cant help. But I was just wondering, and forgive me if I am being rude, if you have 13/14 people shouldn't there be at least ONE driver in those guys? Why do you need some 1 extra? Or am I missing something here?
Whats a 7 seater?
[EDIT]
Googled. LOL! It's a VAN!! Is that what you guys call it over there? Oh lord English people! And if I can recall in Bdesh they call it Microbus.

Yes its a mini van with 7 seats in it. There are also 5 seaters and 12 seaters ..
No you are not being rude. For one of the 7 seaters, I will the driver. If there is another one, I'd need a volunteer driver since I can't drive both ..lol. Hope it makes sense but you don't live in England anyway so why do you care!
PS - Bangladeshi microbus has unlimited seats, we don't have those here :P

But if 13/14 going, then 7 will go with you, and there will be another 7. Can one of those guys drive?

That's what he's saying. He is asking if one of those other 7 can drive the bus.

Ok I read the whole thing again. And this is what I thought he meant. He might take 13/14 of his relatives. And he is looking for a driver from BC to drive 2nd car. LOL

when u/we gonna comeback?? Right after the game finishes or sleep on the van for a short while after the game and leave for london in the morning or early morning?
Coz if u guys leave right after the game we will reach london around 2/3 am in the morning and coz of that my mum wont allow me to go . She would rather prefer me to stay out whole night.
So if u guys comeback in london after 5am then im going

This thread is fast becoming an epic fail. Not a single person is interested to take a day off, spend £60, make a trip and watch our beloved country beating England for the first time in ODI!! Come on pplz.

Which stand do you intend on sitting? I hope to go the ODIs in Nottingham and Birmingham and maybe the game against Middlesex as well.

Do you know if you're allowed horns in the stadium for ODIs? What about banners and flags? Where dya buy t-shirts from? Cause at Old Trafford you couldn't bring any of that into the stadium and no one was selling t-shirts either.
