Smile The mascot of Cricket World Cup 2011

An elephant trudges past a caricature of "Stumpy", the mascot of Cricket World Cup 2011, during the mascot launch ceremony at the P Sara Oval Stadium in Colombo yesterday. The showpiece event will be jointly staged by India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Bangladesh's Bangabandhu National Stadium will host the opening ceremony on February 17.Photo: AFP

Old news. But when the design came out, I thought they would use a guy and customs. But they are using a actual animal! LOL!

Must bring an elephant to BNS. It'll provide good fertilizer for the field.

^ Not just BNS, all 3 countries could use some elephant dump. Subcon. have the ****iest cricket grounds. Yellow grass, brown spots all over the parks. And of course the flat pitches. I am pretty sure the coverage will be pretty dull too. Theme song will suck!

I just cant wait for 2015 WC. Aus + NZ! Best cricket grounds, nice weather, good sporting pitches, nice coverage, almost as good as our NFL, NBA standard. This was suppose to be AUs + NZs turn. But those chours stole it!

An elephant mascot is fine but why bother chaning/suffacating up that real life animal into that ugly costume for?
