Yeah, but what took him so long to figure out our bowling needs help (bowling coach or not) - he is the head coach after all.

This should have happened a while ago, though it would be better if it were with an actual bowling coach?

I thought I read reports Klusner was our new bowling coach? What happened there?

i was just wondering why he didn't do it earlier...nevertheless later is better than never!or maybe he realised that he might get the sack after the WC so he's just putting some extra efort to prove his worth!

When we had a bowling coach, it didn't matter for him much to pay personal attention to the bowlers. When there was the chance of getting a bowling coach, he, like us all, expected the deal to be finalized.

Lesson learned again, never expect! From any situations...lol!

Oh did not see that. Thanks!

Hopefully we can find a good bowling coach, especially for the pacers. We can't go forward with the quality we have right now.

If we have a batting coach, a bowling coach and a fielding coach, what is the responsibility of the head coach?

^^ Similar to the job Sir Alex ferguson/Jose mourinho/Arsene Wenger has in football clubs.

what are these responsibilities (i'm not familiar with the football world)? Anything for the technical improvement of players? or just planning the matches?

That won't happen. BCB jaate matal taale thik. They already declined Siddons' offer of hiring separate batting coach before. So Siddons will remain as both the batting & head coach.

It was his (Loitta) decision alone to take Klusener
Another pin in BD cricket's coffin by Loitta

maybe he could only give general bowling tips while focusing on the batsman...now that he's improved our batsman, maybe he's shifting gears a bit.

lets see how he does.

A head coach usually overlooks all the training, takes part in all of the training, but doesn't devote himself to any particular group for long. He would also be the main head of the think tank and makes the game plan[which is substantially more important in football]
I don't think we will have a head coach of that sort in Bangladesh[ever], we will always have a head coach who looks after the majority of the players and an assistant to help him.
