Yes.
Now - how hard did you have to resist temptation to not use the word "official' in the title. ;-)
Thank you for staying true to your sig.

he was always tipped as the best SLA of the reserves ... he got few early chances in difficult condition or match situation but could not make use of it. today he did the job. this could be the confidence booster for his career. hope he continues to improve and give raj a challenge for a place in team.

McInnes was very fond of Shubho - I hope Shubho finally starts to show the promise he had. He can bat quite nicely too...

And how many people wanted him dropped ? Shuvo just needs a few more games to get settled into the international scene.

I think he's broken Rafique's record against Australia in 2006.
Rafique 10-?-15-?

The Bangladeshi openers come out on the back of a brilliant bowling effort which was only slightly blemished by the Batting Powerplay. Shuvo bowled with unrelenting parsimony, while all the bowlers picked up a wicket.

This was one of the tightest, best displays of ODI/containment bowling I've ever seen, period. I pray to GOD that he can sustain this type of performance. The unrelenting pressure from his end created opportunities for others. WTG Md. Suhrawardi Shubho, Hujur 2.0

He is our beard-walla Vettori, without glasses.
But I feel he was this successful because NZs probably never heard of him, and never faced him either. So they kinda got confused. But if he can keep this up, we now have replacement for Naeem and Riyad, and can rotate the trio Naeem-Riyad-Shuvo around in the late order.

His line and lenght of bowling was brilliant. That was missing against England, may be due to pressure of being newcomer. Excellent stuff from SS.
Btw dont forget he is an allrounder who will be really handy in batting PP situation.

if that was the case every debutant ever would take 3-14 off 10 overs...everyone debuts at some point...

naeem and riyadh ar mainly batsman and occasional bowlers, whereas Suhrawardi is mainly a bowler and handy batsman.
anyway we may not need both naeem and riadh at the same time.
anyway Shuvo can certainly push raj now for the 2nd SLA spot supporting Shakib. and i think shuvo should have already replaced raj in test matches.

Shouvo is not debutant. Not always a debutant does well, as they get excited or nerves.
But like I said, may be it's the case, may be it's not, if he can keep doing it, good for him. We can drop Razzak!

Shuvo finally got his break and I couldn't be happier. I want the legside-dart-througher Razzak out and Shuvo can nicely stand in for him.
But more than that it;s a good omen. Players like Shuvo, Riyad, Kayes are our made man. They aren't super talents, but they worked in our Domestic Structure and their hard work payed off. It's definitely a good sign for the future.

Take it easy guys. This was the first time he has shown any tenacity in international level, so no one should be convinced just yet. I'd like to see him play similarly in the remaining two games, as well as the Zimbabwe series, before considering him for our World Cup line-up.
