Default Greatest run-out in Bangladesh history

There has been many iconic moments in our history such as the winning runs against Kenya, Aftab's six against Gillespie, Tamim's six against Zaheer, Shafiul's slower ball to Trott and so on.

Naeem's runout was a pivotal moment in the match and one of the iconic moments that people will look back on when talking about the match that got our first series win against major opposition.

My question is in your opinion which is the greatest run-out in Bangladesh history, answer one for match best changing runout and one for greatest in terms of skill.

Is Naeem's runout the greatest of all time?

I dont' about greatest, but the most disgraceful and funny was in 2007 WC, Habibul Bashar. I think it was Rahim on the strikers end and played a ball upishly to mid-off and called for a run, And HABA was ball watching, as the fielder dropped the catch he realized that the batsman called for a run and started wandering off like chicken with it's head cut-off.

I don't think it was Rahim.

  • Shahreer Nafees was on strike.
  • Michael Vaughn dropped the silly catch and threw ball lightly to the wicketkeeper without considering making SN run out.
  • brilliant Nixon did he rest

Last edited by magic boy; October 15, 2010 at 02:56 PM.. Reason: Nixon instead of G jones as wk

i remember two runouts from the 1999 WC .....

1. Gavin Hamilton (Scotland): he was taking the game away of us, manjurul flicked his ball on to the stumps that was the turning point

2. vs pakistan, cant remember the batsman(saeed anwar or inzimam): the ball was pushed into the covers or midwicket, aminul islam made a brilliant stop threw back and batsman was runout.
