England needs to crush Australia not just for themselves but for everybody else. Specially before the World Cup we need Australia to be as low on confidence as possible.

broda, English is on our side in WC ! if they beat Aussie then they will be on the peak...they will be mentally strong. So, for our own sake, we should need English to be crushed down so that they will be as low on confidence as possible to have a better chance for Bangladesh.

its not that, we wont be able to beat confident English side, but just...its a mental thing on playing ground !

At least what i feel that Pommies are more arrogant than aussies !! (others may think otherwise)

Moreover, this time, Aussies are underdog...its fun when you support the underdog !!
Likewise Naimul. I live in England but I never really supported the Aussies unless they are playing against Pakistan and recently against India!

I'm going on the 6th, might go on the 7th too depending to the outcome. I predict 5-0 to England. Somthing tells me .. Aussies are gonna get thrashed this time :-)

Still half hr to go. Can't wait. But I have class in half hr.

At a time like this, I miss old Mcgrath, Lee, Warne, Hayden and most of all Gilly. I wish I watched more cricket when they were around and at their prime. Too bad I wasn't into cricket back then and barely felt it or made sense.

A world cup with a low confident Australia is a boring world cup. They are like Lakers or Yakees or for you International fans, Brazil of Cricket.

Plus didn't we talk about how BD will make the final based on THE pattern? vs Pak '99, vs Ind '03 and vs SL '07.

vs Ban '11 is not possible with Ashes losers.

I was just reading the lyrics of God save the queen. Not an easy one to remember actually. But now a days in order to get residence visa, I think you got to know few lines of the national anthem .. those S Africans had no choice.
