Khaled Mashud Pilot mugged

Former national captain Khaled Mashud was mugged on Thursday night in Dhanmondi Road 2.

He was stopped by a group of hijackers, in a black car, who snatched away his mobile phones and Tk 7,500 while he was returning from a wedding reception nearby.

Mashud, who plays for Mohammedan Sporting Club in the Premier League, reported the incident to the Dhanmondi Thana soon after the incident.

I hope the mugger gets arrested and is put behind bars, what a pathetic act.

Dhanmondi 2 is a regular mugger zone. I was nearly nicked in 2004 but luckily got away.
This must sound strange but i have joy when muggers are beaten up by public.
