Well done Captain....why not let the worst bowler in the side bowl the final over. I mean it's no big deal...Bangladesh are so used to getting to finals, and chasing down totals....you thought, best make it interesting.
225 isn't challenging enough, better make sure we chase close to 240 against Pakistan.
Disgusting levels of incompetency - sure anyone CAN hit at the death, but Shahadat WILL get hit.

He is doing a lot of good but his love for Shahadat is costing us matches and causing the fan heartache. Also, his keeping on occasion leaves much to be desired.

a guy with such attitude controls our cricketer?
How you suppose your teammates to stay strong when your captain weeps?

Great captaincy despite the stupidity of persisting with that brainless git, I loved how he brought fielders inside the ring for the death overs. He'll learn from his mistakes, cut him some slack.

Half the stadium was in tears...the tournament meant a lot to all of us, after all, it's not everyday that Bangladesh defeats, India & Sri Lanka to make a final, and then loses the final on the last ball of the game.
They were probably tears of frustration - so close, yet so far. I disagreed with some of his decision making today, but the show of emotion isn't an issue.

I didn't watch the ending but if he did indeed cry then
I thought his captaincy and keeping was terrific throughout the series but he also made some inexcusable decisions such as his persistence with Shahadat. Even he was shell-shocked with the over Shahadat bowled at the end and didn't speak during the huddle. Hopefully he learns from this and develops as a leader.

Well done Mushfiq. You presented us the new Bangladesh. InshAllah, under your leadership you'll win us many games.
Don't cry, Don't be sad Mushi --> there is a brighter future on the horizon.
May God Bless you my brother!

dude you want me to name other cricketers who have cried because of moments like these? sometimes they are tears of joy, sometimes sadness and sometimes frustration. I felt absolutely terrible for him and shakib.

Everyone makes mistakes, Mushi is a young player first then a young captain he's bound to make a couple of wrong decisions here and there. But when he started crying I could not hold back my tears either(until then I managed to keep it together), just shows how much he wanted this to happen as much as the next person..WE are proud of you Mushfiqur Rahim. God Bless you.

Quote:

great ton by mnushy, naeem doing well with 2 wickets and a 63*, good to see mahmudul score runs he's a talented allrounder. sabbir and shuvagata as it's been for awhile continue poor performances, anamul with a duck sucks.
why did mominul bat at 6? (to low for him) and asif ahmed didn't bat at all....
riyad scoring runs with a good strike rate is great to see but he needs to develop his game so he can do it at the higher level.
alauddin babu getting wickets and ziaur getting runs, if we are to bring a pace allrounder into the national team i guess it's one of these guys.
