Guys, looks like Mushy is no longer the chcolate boy next door. He's added some muscle. And yes, I think its time this thread is filled with posts, and becomes one of the most regularly visited for a cricketer whose right up there with Shakib and Tamim in my opinion.

Damn Mushy has scored 93 today. Missed the century again. What is he eating these days? Noodles? I need to have some of that stuff.

Yup. He looks to have been working out. I'll go out on a limb and say we now have 3 1/2 world class players - Mushy, Shakib, Tamim, and Nasir. Nasir is the 1/2. Almost there.

Yeap that's what I think too but all of them really need to learn the art of converting...Now we need a power hitter all rounder at the lower middle order and a world class fast bowler then it will really look like a great team !!

^Hope Abul Hasan can fill that quota for fast bowling and as for power-hitter...hmm maybe Mominul/Nasir

Three 90s in a row! Just missed that elusive 5th hundred. Regardless, 900+ runs with 4 hundreds and 6 fiftys and with probably an excellent SR. Top of the batting charts two years in a row. Amazing achievement. I want to see him replicate it where it matters though.

DPL er performance onushare promote korte hole kintu Mushy, Riyad dujonkei promote korte hobe... I think it's not a good idea to promote Mushy right now... Because we know he is not that consistent when he plays for national team... Let him be more consistent in NT then we can promote him.. Because last time when he promoted himself in Asia Cup he didn't perform well..

Nevertheless it's an outstanding achievement !!!

So consistent in the dpl, always thought the best spot for him was #6 but if he can play like this so consistently at #3 even if it's just domestic cricket then he certainly puts his name up for the #3 spot in the NT

I disagree. We have 2 world class players in Tamim and Shakib but Mushfiqur is not there yet. In my opinion, he still has some ways to go. He's still not consistent enough at the international level. Look at the Asia Cup also, Tamim and Shakib performed in every single match whereas Mushy performed in only 1 match. I feel that's been the story of Mushy. Whenever he clicks, he's such a class player, but it just doesn't happen enough. That being said, he's making improvements on his batting and is heading in the right direction. He just needs to convert his domestic form in to international form.

I agree with you about Nasir however.I believe Nasir will get there as he's 1 of the best young batsmen out there right now in the world. The consistency is his game for such a batsman is just remarkable and feel he'll only get better from here.

I agree to your disagree.
Mushy needs to perform regularly in internationals specially in ODIs, he has been pretty consistent in Tests.
But Nasir is a very good player to have,he is almost world class, just needs to work more on his techniques.
Mushy has huge potential to be a world class batsman, that's why I want to see him at 3 or 4 in ODIs.
Ryad who is the 2nd top scorer in DPL is the next one I'm looking forward to.

I agree, Mushy has a long way to go before being labelled as world class. We only have two world class players and even Tamim's status as a world class batsman is shaky until he starts converting those 50s and starts going the extra mile for the team. That being said, Mushy has the potential as does Nasir, no doubt. They just have to translate that ability onto the world stage and perform consistently like Shakib has done for the last three years. As for Mushy's batting position, now that he is captain he has the freedom to decide for himself where he can be best utilised. If he can perform at number 3 then that would solve a massive headache for us. The thing that has impressed me the most about Mushy recently is how far his attacking game has come. They don't show the batsman's SRs on cricketarchive but if I had to guess I'd say his SR would be close to 90 for the season, which is amazing considering how he was such a one-dimensional batsman when he started.
