I get nervous even thinking Deano wanted to coach us. Somethings are better not to try.

This guy has much control over his mouth as a 3 month old baby has over his bladder
At one point there was a keeper who was missing stumpings and he pointed at the situation, telling that birt should replace Mushfiqe. such contradictions

mathews might be blistering and might have played 70 odd t20s to mushy's 40 but they both have an average of 23 and both have a 115 strike rate. shehzad and nazir do have a bit more success, although in terms of t20 experience mushy and shehzad are similar just 4 matches difference. travis birt only has a 24 average, higher strike rate though. i guess touch and go for a top 4 spot, but he could be put in there instead of birt or mathews but i guess it should depend on form and who's looking good at the practice and who has been performing in the recent matches but i don't think it's there's a problem with asking for mushy to bat higher, he should at least be at 5 if they don't put him in the top 4.

Who cares what Dean Jones says? He is not a part of the team management of Mushy's team.

He did looked quite a bit nervous yesterday. Still tried to finish it off in style but couldn't. Oh well, no harm done though. Hope he can get more opportunities to bat and play some good knocks for the team.

I am little worried about Mushys batting.
Didnt do well in Euro tour...now cant time three ordinary.deliveries..other days he would havr smacked them for fours.

I am also worried about Mushy's batting. But i have a feeling he will make up any how. Have you noticed how much he have improved in his batting in last 3 years?

yeah actually even though i've been saying he should bat up the order in the SLPL his batting has been on the downer lately, just when he was starting to get more reliable he's become pretty unreliable.

yes Rubel bhai.
Mushy is a fine batsman, and our second most reliable Test batsman after Tamim imo.
But I agree with what Sohel bhai somewhere said that Mushy goes through the same pattern of scores, a few consistent innings followed by a few poor.
So he might be going through that phase.

He needs to get chances at first. There is no use if comes at no. 5/6 when he has only 20-30 runs to score

Good to see the Sri Lankans putting so much faith on Rahim.

Langeveldt to Mushfiqur Rahim, SIX, Rahim finishes it with a scorcher, he winds up and mows a length ball over deep midwicket, the only fifty of the evening, and a match-winning one all the way....
Congrats Mushy!!!
