Some of mushy's t20 performances really showcase his talent, he can play to the the different situations it's more of a mental thing. He's still only 23!

Depends upon your temperament. Kohli is also like 23. Nasir is 20 and yet temparement-wise much better than rohit sharma, thats why people praise nasir so much

Very true, sharma with all that talent hasn't put it altogether and the one who wasn't talked about so much kohli is now one of the best ODI batsmen.

Angelo Mathews, the skipper said in a post match interview, "Mushfiq is the Bangladesh captain and he knows what he is doing ...". In that particular match Mushfiqur was the Man of the Match.
Mushfiq is highly respected in the cricketing circles in Sri Lanka.

Mushy dropped a high catch at silly point today, probably he should have left that for the fielder who was set there..

Got out cheaply today. Couldn't time the shot correctly. Hope he works it over on the nets.

What else do you expect from a guy whose idea of 'sledging' is to keep quiet?

Actually I meant that the req rr was close to 11 by the time he came on, it was unlikely they would have won.

Okay I slept through it but was hearing Dean on the background. Was his keeping really that atrocious as he made out to be? I could hear that he dropped a sitter.

Everyone dropped a lot of catches, Mushy's drop didn't cost much. But yeah, a sitter.
Deano is still an a-hole.

lol those of you crying about Dhaka Gladiators not getting a place in the CLT20 make me laugh. That team barely has any Bangladeshi talent. Might as well call it Pakistan/Foreigners XI.

very much agree, though we have two of our best Mash & Ash,but still I'm not keen to see Dhaka Gladiators.
Although I have supported Dhaka mainly as it is my birth place, but I liked Khulna & Rajshahi a lot more.

i dont care as long as any team with anything with bd gets into clt20 and do well and hopefully strong enough to win the comp....in that way it would be good branding of the bpl about its standard and hopefully draw more investment.....and as far as local talents are concerned there will be still opportunity for 6 or 7 local lads to perform in a bigger platform and hopefully to shine, if they are good enough..

Why does Mushy lack consistency? He has the makings of a very solid player for our middle order. It has been 5 years now and still he hasn't performed up to the mark "for long enough". Yes, he got better and his abilities have recently been re-discovered. But for someone who averaged 80 in Domestic ODs this year scoring 1000 runs(Approx.), an average of 24 isn't good enough.
...
Hoping in the coming years he turns into a run machine like Hashim Amla. He has it in him for sure.
