Its not uncommon in BD.. Dhiman Ghosh gets regular wickets whenever he bowls. He is very good in bowling. And he keeps and used to be a very good batsman as well.

^Why are you saying 'used to be good'? I find him still very good as he made a ton in the 4-day league.

^Fair enough. We're just going to have to agree to disagree. For me someone who can't beat Zimbabwe returning to Test cricket after a five year hiatus is not more eligible for captaincy than someone who has a 40% win record in ODIs v G8s.

That was a classic Mushy knock. A really matured innings. Knows when to shift gears. When to milk the singles and when to step it up.

Superb innings. I wish he'd play like this more often. Too often he looks nervous and shaky at the crease. Today he was steely and driven. He really wanted to beat DG. Missed the first part of his innings so waiting for highlights.

Mushy is proving his class as captain, and player at T20 format with good captaincy and knocks in the BPL 2.

I did not get see this innings, but I am expecting him to play a big knock during a big game. He is getting better at performing under pressure!!!
Any highlights of his innings available?

Mushy is a surprise package, when he clicks, he outdoes himself even but the problem is he does not click too often. In intl' matches he should come down the order as he is quite good at finishing the job and bat under pressure. It would be quite a good combination of him and nasir at lower down the order. The person who needs to man up and bat up is Riyad.

I would like to Have this middle order for ODIs and Tests:
3. Shakib
4. Riyad
5. Mushfiqur
6. Nasir

I think since we have Gazi, there will be less pressure for Shakib to bowl his full quota. So we can afford him to bat at #3 if we dont find a suitable replacement. Mushy to me is the perfect #6 or #7. We all know he has potential if he bats at #4 and make a good score but he doesn't do it often enough. At #7 you dont necessarily have to be a consistent batsmen, just bat under pressure and make some quick runs which he can do effectively.
In all honestly Nasir deserves to be ahead of Mushy in the batting order.
For ODI's
1. Tamim Iqbal
2. Anamul Haque
3. Shakib Al Hasan
4. Mahmudullah
5. Nasir Hossain
6. Mushfiqur Rahim
7. Mominul Haque
OR
1. Tamim Iqbal
2. Imrul Kayes
3. Anamul Haque
4. Shakib Al Hasan
5. Nasir Hossain
6. Mahmudullah
7. Mushfiqur Rahim

last BPL when mushy was the captain of DR,his team had a 5 match winning streak, this time with SR mushy's team again have a 5 match winning streak, and if BD won the Asia cup final which they lost by only 2 runs mushy would have had a 5 match ODI wining streak, that too vs top opponents!!!!

He needs to go on longer winning streaks for BD.

And people want to sack him from captiancy
Mushy is very decent as a captain except the few odd brain freeze.

If you look back, all most all the captains in the cricket playing nations had one or more brain freeze at some point.
Mushy has been doing great.
Even I wanted Dhiman doing the keeping role but after reading here about him that he has not been doing such a good of a job recently, I think Mushy is the right person for the job as a keeper and captain.

The problem with Rahim is that he doesn't score enough runs and still averages less than 30 in the key formats. Played 30 tests but only 1 100 which simply isn't good enough and needs to take his time in Tests, find the gaps, no risks etc. In ODIs, he need to bat at 6 or below to finish things off and score quick runs.

You know you've nailed it when you make a 50 at a 180 SR and nobody bothers talking about it. #shooperstar
