Lol when Mushy gives the bowlers who have troubled the batsmen a prolonged spell - he doesn't know how to handle bowlers' workload, he isn't rotating the bowlers etc. etc.

When he rotates the bowlers - he isn't aggressive enough, he isn't allowing the bowlers to settle, he is not looking for wickets, his tactics are scripted.

Today's bowling changes were awful. He needed to have more faith on his spinners. Mullah & Shohag was brought too late for too less overs. Acres were having too long spells. Nasir was brought unnecessarily too early.

The only thing he did good was allowing Enamul to settle down with a longer spell.

Riyad & Gazi should have been used more by the Captain.

No one's blaming the captain for such a poor show ? Well let me do the honors then, though I did not watch the game but I can say from the score card that this guy simply did not improve on bowler rotation strategy. He overbowled robiul though I understand that he was the one getting wickets but you don't let your seam bowler bowl non stop like that (17+ overs on the traught). The last thing we want is him collapsing similar to our batting card. He underbowled gazi again and the right hand strategy does not convince me because I think gazi is better than that. If the right hand batsmen are a big case then he should have gone for another SLA rather than opting for Gazi, or even better Sajedul for that matter. It goes to show that the coach and himself did not do their homework right.

HIs batting is as inconsistent as SIr Ash, I don't know how he manages to escape the rants of people here at BC. a score of 200 and then Nothing to show after that. Yes he has saved our ***es a few times in ODI's but I can't recall any test innings where he has come good. What Brendan Taylor doing for Zim, Mushfiq failed to do just that. He still has a chance though in the second innings but will it matter now ?

He needs to be dropped as captain. It has been really appalling at times.

Was looking forward to his 3rd Test hundred. Disappointed, but he's had a solid match.

Missed out on a dud-bhat century. Highest run-scorer in consecutive series' (could still be overtaken by Nasir). Leading from the front.

Skipper's batting has improved a lot since he took the captaincy. It was an important knock which should have been a century. The dismissal was unlucky in a way with the extra bounce that Hamilton got. Nonetheless you do put in performances and your knock is close to being a match winner.

Needs to work on being consistent though. Very hot and cold player although his batting is technically correct.

Great batsman but a nightmare in terms of tactics as a captain. Overused Robiul in the first innings and the effects are showing in the 2nd innings. Seen this happen to Ishant Sharma as well... a promising bowler put under too much workload and eventually losing all the zip and swing.
On the 5th day he needs to be wiser and workout the weakness of each of the remaining six batsman. Sajidul has kept things very tight so it would be good to pair Shakib with him because Shakib's consistency is not yet there. Robiul and Zia needs to be used in short spells with Gazi going for a long spell at one end. I am betting on Gazi to finish off the tail if one of our other bowlers can remove Masakadza

Worried about the captaincy part. Why did we keep bowling Zia and Gazi. The two wickets were a bonus, but you cant keep bowling him over and over. Shakib, Sajidul, and Robiul in short spells would have been good once Shinji Masakadza came to bat.

Zimbabwe took a gamble with Shinji and was shocked to see it paid off. Now lets hope he doesnt do a Gillespie.

The world might laugh at us about that but Gillespie showed the world how to bat on a slow turning surface. Everyone seemed to forgot how poorly the likes of Clarke and Martyn performed in that series.

I am a bit tensed about Mushy's captaincy. Mushy should take suggestions from Shakib.
