How?

I voted for Gayle. Your logic falls flat on its face right there.

The word kdpp is kdpp. Just like the word hackneyed is hackneyed.

This must be the silliest of comparisons ever. Gayle doesn't stand a chance against ABDV, not in this universe.

AB's consistency takes it for me, can be just as destructive as gayle but scores more runs more often.

AB has nothing. No rings!! That is nothing. All other stupid achievements means nothing. Even with a much better balanced side he has at his disposal. Imran will always be better than Botham and Hadlee. Because of the shinny thing he has on his finger. WINNER.

Gayle has several rings. Club or World stage.

AB is a wanna be in T20. 125 Strike rate with a 22 average. At best Mount Kilimanzaro. Not even mount Everest.
Gayle is the Sun, the Moon, and what is in between. 142 SR. 35 average. Viv Richards like.
+++
OHHH!!! You talk about test? Are you serious?
AB's heroics comes after Amla. Not even the best player in his team.
Gayle He don't like this format. Yet that sucker has two 300+ scores. Yes, both overseas. One in SA, lol. What AB don't have any? lol. Start doing "you are not worthy".
+++
As for ODIs
Gayle has more wickets than Joel Garner, Michael Holding, or even Malcolm Marshal.
ABCDEFG has 5. lol. 5. Fans, go to a nearby banana tree. Eat some "Kola".

Jottoshob.
+++
Zeeshan, Next time compare people with similar credentials. Chokers can't be winners.

Between this two, definitely Gayle. If AB continues like this for. Few mire years, he might be able to catch up..but for now, he's way behind Gayle.

Oh let me add before someone brings the fastest 100 thingi.

Gayle scored 100 runs in 31 balls against Zimbabwe in this World Cup. Yes, His second 100 in that game took only 31 balls. Go look up.

Ironically AB made those two blitzing hundred again West indies. A certain Gayle was seen hailing AB as a god. Yes Zeeshan these can't be compared. You can only juxtapose them.

Right now, I would choose ABD above Gayle. However, neither is the greatest batsman alive. My vote would be for Sunny.

I don't know if there is anyone else in AB's league. He's alone in his league.

Don't get me wrong - there are many cricket legends. But AB is the only one in his league.

I think even Gayle will be surprised to see his name associated in the same poll with AB.

Chokers will be chokers.
Even Maxwell has a ring. ABCD go steal from him since you can't get one on your own.

ABD haters will be ABD haters. The only thing that will change their minds is the "ring". Precious , ooh my precious.

I am not an AB hater. Afterall, I compared him with Mount Kilimanjaro. The tallest mountain of Africa. Not a tea hill at Sylhet.

Rings make greats LEGEND. England had great players, no Legends. Had they won one, history would see them differently. That is why the only Legend they have is KP (a Saffer). Fact.

Tendu wouldn't be where he is without that ring he got. Otherwise it would always be Kapil Dev. The reason Dhoni is mentioned on any list because he is a winner. Not a stat sheet winner but a real winner. No rings and you will be forgotten when others come and make history.

What good a 50 or 100 do when your team can't win? Being a BD supporter you should know this the best.

So basically a RING means that a player is automatically a LEGEND. So I guess Rameez Raja is a legend. I guess that south have produced zero LEGENDS thus far. Despite being the most consistent team for the past few years, south Africa and ABD have to win it to be legends. To the Victor goes the spoils. I hope that they choke again, because that's what I'm used to see.
But a good observation about KP, TIGER_EYE BRO
