Default Home Crowd As The 12th Man

In the group matches, we have the advantage of the Home ground, therefore, the Home crowd. As we know Home supporters can play a vital role in most sports and, in cricket, a well educated (knowing how to lift the Team) and organized supporters can be almost like the 12th man on the ground.

Back home, our crowd are very passionate but also emotional. So, when the game is not going our way we tend to become very quite and sometime there is this deafening silence which doesn't lift or help the team -rather work against it. I hope somehow we can communicate this to our would be crowd/supporters at the grounds in Dhaka and Chittagong. Perhaps, Isam or others can write an article or two in the local newspapers!

Good thread. Someone was saying in facebook how there are no flags up on the roof compared to the Argentina-Brazil zeal. Do people not believe in themselves or what???!

Coaches insist that we should not abuse the players. Their main expectations from fans. It was sad to see some chanting 'bhua' 'bhua' when things don't go our way.

Absolutely. Thats the minimum. Deshi crowds needs to be told excatly how they can help their Team in a significant way.
