The most important & positive thing about this BATTING display is that the flood lights of Shere Bangla National Stadium are not gonna have to be switched on today, and hence, a hell lot of electricity will be saved, which will result positively in summer while load-shedding will start having impact in people's life yet again! Isn't it a huge contribution from our batters? I BELIEVE so!

I suggest after this WC, a wholesale change in the national team against the upcoming series against Australia. Every player should be given to understand that nobody is indispensable even the captain in that matter. Sack the captain and bring back Mashrafe

It is not all in vain, it's just that we are competing at a level we aren't ready for and have been for the past decade.
We should never have been given our test status, we got too much too early, and for too little effort.
We should be an associate nation.
So while the players and coaches are busting their balls, practicing, training etc etc, when the chips are down, the fact remains all the major nations are still much better than us.
160-170mil people doesn't mean you are a good cricketing nation, and neither does having loads of money spent on the team.
Look at this West Indies team, certainly not one of their best team, yet
Gayle
Sarwan
Chanderpaul
are miles, yes absolute miles better than any player we have EVER had. In fact go man for man, and ask how many of our players would get in that WI team atm?

When BD win any match most of us just say what a captaincy. But I never felt he is a good captain, not in a single match. Mashrafe should be back with captaincy.

our team needs an overhaul but we haven't picked the replacement players in our squad of 15... There is no Mashrafi to bolster the tail... there is no Shabbir/Alok to solve powerplay... there is no Johurul Islam to strengthen middle order... there is no reserve keeper to put Mushfiq under pressure...
only change we can make is probably bring in Nafees in place of Junaid...

This team is a bunch of retards. Can't play well in a high pressure game. Also Skhaib said before the match that 'it wasn't a must-win game'. Pretty sure every game in the world cup is a must win game. F****** shakib doesn't have a brain in that head of his

The hell if it isn't....the fans aren't idiots. Losing to the West Indies is no disgrace, but getting all out for 58 in such a crucial match, and in a pitch that was in no way that bad....is not acceptable.
The fans who spent thousands, and more importantly hours waiting to get hold of tickets, deserved a hell of a lot more, and if they voice their displeasure, I have no problems.

One of the differences I can see is average age of our national team. We are still probably the youngest team. So the consolation I sometimes get is probably in next 5 years time we will start seeing some improvement

what's the point of picking up a POWERPLAY SPECIALIST when we never take it when a top 7 batter is there ???
today we even failed to take it
