Yes, let's keep our world class winning team combination. I mean surely we could never dare to replace Junaid with his mind blowing 25. Hell, let's just keep him in that line up for the entire year. He can only improve from this.

well I don't, we don't have the bowlers to defend a target of 340. Sooner the BCCI adapts ECB system (of importing players ) the better.

reg. this match,
1.) why create a minefield of a pitch if you know your batting is weak?
2.) Batting suc***d big time last match against IRE even the next door 4 year old kid know he had to make some plans to adjust to the condition, what sort of stupid plan BD coach made?
3.) Is there anyone willing to take responsibility and assure they will improve it next game?
P.S: I just got off the bus after long trip, planned to watch the match, but it was over (well in just 2 hours!!!!!!!!!!), what sort off performance is this, heads should roll

Well, the pitch was a good one IMO. Our batters just gave away their wickets, unfortunately!

For some reason he takes offense at me talking about ECB or England. Its better to stay away than debate with him. Well lets not turn this in to Ind vs eng. Its a sad day for Bangladesh, they've lost by big margin and focus should be on that and how can they recover from this.
My anger is all towards BD coach Siddons, he should've atleast made a plan to make a match of this game. This is tournament-turning game, yet what we have is a disasterous loss, I have no words to explain, as a cricket lover this game is such a disappointment, I feel for the BD fans.
Best of luck guys in the other games but you have an uphill task from here.

I have seen enough bad performances for a lifetime but today we hit a new low, something I haven't seen since khodabox days. That too from a team from 2011 - supposedly the best team we ever had since BD started playing cricket.

Right. So, ECB kidnapped him from South Africa, and locked him up for FIVE years in England, and made him play for Somerset all those years? And, after he received British citizenship, they forced him to play for England against his will?

I don't have words to express my feelings. This was the most pathetic display of batting by our team. They were in a very generous mood and WI was not.

What don't you have compare to Ireland? We have great fan base, world class coaches (baring one of them), our players are better than Ireland, test status of 10 years old, and yet we play like C division cricket team.

Although Junaid played across the line, his was the only non-gifted wicket. Ash managed to get to double figures. In fact, he had the second highest score of our inning. This should book him a place in the team for the next 3 matches.

Good job Ashraful.
Now one less worry... don't need to worry who will play the role of team mascot for the remainder of the games.

Even at our worst, we weren't under 100 runs. I'd rather rank at 10, than be at 8, if we play like this. Clearly we underestimated the West Indinies (Sohel_NR should've opened a thread on that), it was very visible from the moment Tamim played that ugly slog.
