That looks like a scary squad.

But let us tell ourselves. Did we expect to whitewash Pakistan and thrash them every match? NO

Did we expect us to beat India convincingly in the first 2 matches before the series? NO

But our players believed hence they came out saying "we are favourites" We can do this

Without test matches, we r going to win all.....mark my work. I said before india series, bd will Banglawash to indian.....my word came true although one match to play.....sa will be more worse than pak and ind......they will be clueless against sak, sunny, jubair, taijul, and Nasir. ....

I believe SA batsman will struggle in Bangladesh. The fight would be between Bangladesh batsman and SA bowlers.

SA have the best w/l ratio overseas in ODIs in the last 10 years.

If we can beat India at home conditions; don't see why we can't do the same against SA. Afterall, the pitches in Bangladesh suite other subcontinent teams more than South Africa. Main threat would be AB! He can take the match away from us on his own..

Also, a lot depends on whether we can have the best 11. Injuries to key players like Mashrafe, Shakib may change the scenario completely. A Mushy lead ODI outfit will be a sitting duck for SA..

Amla 165 ball= 135 run
Others 50 ball = 35 run
ABD 50 ball = Allah malum
Late middle order+lower order 35 ball= 45 run

so 50 overs= 215 + Allah malum runs, it depends on our batsmen.

Much as the 4 pacers have been successful against India, against South Africa, one of Taskin/Rubel has to sit and Taijul or Sunny have to come in.

Good of S Africa to tour.
Tests are a given, altho S Africa some new blood,Phangiso in the tests is bloody stupid he doesn't even play 4 day games for his province.
In one dayers tip S Africa with Devilliers, but with S Africa playing their 2nds attack its pretty much even.

Agree 100%

Let's see if we pass the BanglaWash test.

India will play with zero fear having conceded the series already. And our boys need to have the hunger to annihilate them for the third time. Let's see if they can do it, then we can talk about SA.

Thanks for correction, good to know. From their WC failures, I always see the other side.

Amla 135 ball khelle 150 korbe, his strike rate in ODI is 90. He is one of the best limited over batsmen atm. Against us, Amla will be the most dangerous player.

I would love to see BD winning ODI series against them. If we can tackle India's batting lineup then we can tackle any batting lineup. SA batting is inferior to the Indian. at least in sub-continental condition.

SA will be fresher and now more alert than IND. So I hope we don't go into this series complacent or arrogant, the way India came into this series. We saw the end results of that first hand. Job's not done. Making CT was just part of the bigger goal. Take one game a time.

And I hope we don't make the mistake of thinking SA can't play spin. We have to keep our spin-attack subtle and support the spinners with quality pace. I expect Mustaf to be less effective. SA probably started their scouting report on him already. We only have a week to get ready for them. Our staffs should've already started their work on SA while the players are finishing up.

I'll be dozing off as soon as the third ODI ends.

will it stop raining by the time the Tests start?

anyways, surprised we got 2 full ODIs vs India. good drainage system in BD helped for sure. hope the 3rd match is also a full game of at least 80 overs duration.

Absolutely.

One of south Africa's biggest weakness is they have a very long tail: but then again when Amla, devilllers and others in the top does bulk of the work that gets taken care of. Then you have miller and faf du plessis to worry about
