Great to see the Baper Byata-esque intent continue in Northern Ireland as well. Keep it dude.

It's a huge relief watching Riyad finally shaping into what he can be. Not at his best yet, but surely getting there. I doubt the reserve bench is strong enough and wasn't looking forward to him getting replaced.

This is Ryad 2.0... great string of performances, lots of boundaries and good strike-rates.

He seems to have come on to his own. He now has intent - I think he has found a new found confidence that he did not have before.

No doubt about that Z bhai... this team in my opinion is stronger than the one we had in 2007 that went into the super 8 stages. I expect big things from this group of boys. We might not win tournaments yet but the wins will become much more regular. All the years of defeat, sadness and despair might truly be coming to an end. Yay to that!

Yes, agree. It's like the puzzle piece is coming together for the positions. In those days, we had one or two givens and the rest we had to fill with also rans and never rans. We know have more places filled with players we are not ashamed of and for those places we are not decided we at least have options. Of course, we are not world beaters yet but at this rate we won't be the perennial beaten either.
In batting, we have Tamim, Mushy, Shakin, Nasir and now Mamdullah who can give us hope. Lot's of youngsters are showing promise in filling in the remaining slots.
In our bowling, our spring of SLAs have yet to run dry. Old faithful Mash is still around, although not for long. If Rubel and Nazmul can make an extended run and we find one good offie or leggie, we can sure reach the middle rankings soon - I say 3-4 years.

i think Riyad now knows his role in the team. But really he should be given the ball more. On his day he can match Shakib.

You're officially a Baper Byata in my book now.

Two days ago he did it with the bat, today he did it with the ball. Clearly under-bowled most of the time - learn Mushy!

Things are slowly falling in place. Debatable but a lot of this started in the Siddons era. Law continued the good work. And now Pybus is taking it even higher.

Don't mean to burst everyone's bubble but did you guys see the higlight Mo bhai posted. Riyad bowled 3 full tosses in the last over, and 2 of those fulltoses helped him picked up the 2 wickets. I'm no genius but I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be bowling full tosses in the last over when the oppostion only needs 8 runs. Not to take any credits away from Riyad but against Pak and NZ those full tosses will get clobbered for six. I hope our captain will have a better plan in mind by the time WT20 rolls around.
