At least he tried to do something, he seemed quite disgusted and vent out this frustration by hitting couple of quick boundaries at the beginning. He then realized there was some sort of partnership brewing with Mushy and slowed down a bit, then the captain just threw it away.

We were to some extent still in the game considering how Mahmudullah was going. Run rate was good and at one point Riyad was going at a 100+ strike rate.

I always thought Riyad was avergae but after today's game and the way you played and almost took us to the brink of a win, I must salute you and I shall never moan about you ( until you start sucking constantly )

Exactly.
I would have Shakib at 3, Mushy at 4, then Riyad at 5, followed by Nasir and Mominul. I thought it was ridiculous in yesterday's game when the score was 3-4 and 4-7, Nasir and Mominul were sent ahead of him. He has played four times as many games as both those two combined. We needed experience at that stage. He has to take some responsibility and want that role. He's the Vice-Captain he should be demanding that position not be happy to bat at 7. The only times I would advocate sending Nasir and/or Mominul ahead of him is if we are way behind on the run rate when we are chasing a big total, then those two could be sent out early with a free role to bat aggressively.

He should be both Man of the Match and Man of the Series.

I have been for ages calling for his promotion at #3. How the hell do you waste him at #7? Jeez.

What a series for him! Has played the role of the main all-rounder brilliantly. A MoS is in order.

pretty good series, proved his usefulness this series but tough to find him up the order when shakib comes back, expect naeem/jahirul spot to be taken by shakib and the rest of the team the same.

Mominul wiill have to drop out, unfortunately. Mullah should play at 3, and Shak at his usual 4 or even 5.

Always knew he has it in himself but lacked confidence in many occasions.. But with no Shakib he really stepped up to fill in the role and how he did that.. hats off.. So that's where he should bat not so lower down the order...

Ryiad may not be the most talented player. But some how he managed to produce, prove that his "nay sayers" are wrong again.
He is over achiever... and that's why his success makes me so happy.

VC, thank you for finally getting rid of that freeloader term. At least you stood up and played like a "senior member" unlike some of the other one. (Well all seniors stood up except one)

that's what it is and that was my point always.... He will no more look like playing for losing causes in that position.....that's a better position for him... Or may be at 4 .. I won't mind that. His contributions will be useful.
Overall very good series for him and he deserved to be the MoS....better luck next time.
