However he played well but if Zia was the place of him probably we might win the match.

Do u guys really think Tamim and Riyad has done it wrong today?! seriously, complain about Rubel Hossain, his ability to bowl and Mushfiq's Captaincy! Not Tamim and Riyad. They are victim of good bowling and incapability of not being a west indian - physically not fit enough like WI people!

I have been really shocked to see some of the comments. Calling him "idiot" "selfish" "pathetic". Cmon people we are much better than this!

There were better hitters waiting to go at it.

AKA Zia - who's inclusion in the team was for that sole purpose. after 12 they had to go after the bowlers. All those fulltosses.... 197 wasn't hard to chase down the way WI were bowling.

Both must share their share of blame.

If he wasn't timing it or placing it well, he should have gifted his wicket, knowing that he couldn't get Bangladesh across and there were 9 wickets remaining

WHAT? You can't be serious. I think the players thought the same as you. We had frikking 9 wickets in hand and got hundreds and I mean hundreds of fulltosses. Oh well, I guess you are happy with honorable defeat.

After 14 overs, they kept on bowling yorkers. Gayle, Samuels were bowling at least @ 115 kph yorker darts. Roach came and bowled an excellent over. Narine came in the middle and when it was slightly pitched up, Tamim hit it. WI bowled really well in the last 6-7 overs. Not too much the batsmen can do.

And no, I am not happy with the defeat. But I won't call it "pathetic" and "idiot".

Riyad is what he is and gets a most sincere A from me for his honest effort. He tried his best as did Tamim. Sadly, Mr. Benson and Mr. Hedges took Tamim's breath, focus and strength away after a few overs. Love happens, people!

It's injustice to blame riad for no reason what so ever. Some of the deliveries he had to face were pure class. Espacialy those yorkers. Only thing am pissed of about him is that he should have let TAMIM have his 100 when the match was already lost ...

You just said "how people really thought we would chase
198? the game was lost after rubel's over."
You lost your credibility right there. The losing margin wasn't much mind you. It was very much winnable. And in between those yorkers there were a whole lot of fulltosses.

anyway, Overall Ryad had a very good innings.
He is very good in Test & fifty ov but in T20 he shouldn't be promoted.

Now a Toyota is no Maruti-Suzuki but it isn't a Ferrari either. Toyota is class on the Dhaka-Akhaur'ha highway. Ferrari is on the Autobahn. Just sayin

how so? do you think 198 is a piece of cake? how many teams successfully chased down 190+ scores in Int'l T20? I know you are frustrated and so are many of us. But 198 in T20 is a huge huge score that automatically puts the team batting 2nd in a big pressure.

That being said, Riyad missed many of the full tosses. But last 6-7 overs was real good bowling.

Please visit my thread and read the commentator. It is easy to assume he is a neutral commentator without the biased we have. "We can't hit fulltosses?"

You know the difference between Justice and Injustice. Zia, Nasir were waiting. It was injustice to them for having a go at it. 18 run defeat and 118 run defeat is the same in a one off game. Unless shomman jonok porajoi satisfies you.
