wait how does #3 help us qualify? If WI looses against both ENG and IND, I am sure their NRR will be way higher than ours if we loose to SA. Both us and WI has 6 pts so yea lets aim for ENG loosing to WI or we Winning against SA

Good job Bangladesh! I was really scared when Tamim got out...but Imrul saved the day! Good to know we can rely on other players.

Bowlers (Raj in this case) are deprived of another man of the match award. Most probably Gavaskar is the jury in our matches.
Sensible batting from IK and SN. They did exactly what was needed to get this small total.

The way Shafiul is going in each game, I am believing this lad will get his rewards inshAllah in the coming match(es?). Wickets matter.

Wow ... first time I am disappointed to be in BD cricket forum. The reason being not many people find anything wrong with Mushfiq's behavior. In fact most of the posters are praising such behavior. Had any other team's player done this to BD player, there would have been 10 threads asking for the blood of that player.
Kudos for double standard !!!
I am sorry but you guys have to be more humble in winning. Don't take me wrong, as most of you will, but most subcontinent teams and fans lack humility in winning and BD is no different. Once BD achieves the standard of India, SL & Pakistan, most of BD fans will become same what you guys accuse us of. All the subcontinent team and fans want other teams to behave properly against us but we hardly put our best foot forward. There are hardly few exceptions such as Sachin or Shakib.
Still, congrats to BD team as I love BD team.

Suhrawadi Shuvo to Kervezee, OUT, no need of a replay this time, that attempt at breaking free, takes two steps down the crease, it is fired in even as he goes down on a knee to slog it over midwicket, the ball turned past the swipe, and Rahim completed the comfortable stumping, no problems at all
AN Kervezee st †Mushfiqur Rahim b Suhrawadi Shuvo 18 (24b 2x4 0x6) SR: 75.00
Rahim does the stumping, takes a couple of steps forward, gets close to the departing batsman and then screams/jeers right in his face. Kervezee was stunned at that reaction from the keeper, had a stern look at Rahim as he walked away. No need for that extreme reaction. Too much
And above is very mildly described in cricinfo. On TV it looked really really pathetic.
I was watching TV with office friends and really praising BD team and telling them how good the team is, filling them on BD team etc etc and this is what Mushfiq does to leave me red-faced.

Stumped a Dutch batsmen, and then as the batsman was walking off, got in his face, and gave him a bit of lip(and no he didn't kiss him).
It was really weird...the match was so sedate, the only explanation I could think was, maybe the batsmen had said something earlier(he had hit a couple of boundaries in the previous overs)
It was definitely poor form and unnecessary...but a complete non-issue. It's basically what Harbhajan has done at least 250 times after taking a wicket....

While I like mushie, it is hard to find any justification for what he did. If the dutch wicketkeeper did any such thing in retaliation, we would not hesitate to demand his punishment.

That??? oh god..!
really I dont see why thats an issue, yes looking back at that incident and given the position we were in, it does seem a bit unnecessary and something he could've done without and we would still win. But who knows maybe he had his reasons for it..maybe something happend between the two when Bangladesh lost to netherlands last year.
And trust Cricinfo to disapprove of this. hypocrites!

I don't know what Mushy said and what lead to it, but if it was not started by the batsman and he did that just because the batsman scored couple 4s the previous over, he should be fined.
Sledging is an art, do it as much as you can, while it can still be considered an art. There was nothing of art yelling like a "female dog".

yes ... If i have to guess, I will give the exact same reason for Mushfiq's behavior. Giving a send-off is fine but while giving a send-off with your face half a feet away from batsmen shouting something is strictly pathetic. I have seen Zaheer Khan to Steyn to Mortaza giving send off's but never to such a low level. Even Harbhajan gives send off's but I can not recall him being so close to a batsmen's face. So yes, Harbhajan may have given 250 send off's but from a distance and hence never such a bad send off as given by Mushfiq today.
Most of the people are not getting the difference between being 2 meters away or 2 inches away from a batsmen.
And yes it is always a no issue if the miscreant is from your team.

Anyways, let us not make this too much of a big deal. I just felt that this was something that should have been discussed here and I am satisfied with divided opinion.
Subcontinent people are never a good sledgers and I do not see them becoming good sledgers in near future. English is not their primary language and most of the times when they try to sledge they sound rude and offensive. They in turn try to be aggressive by action (example being Harbhajan and Mushfiq today) and this results in more offensive and useless behavior and embarrassment to the team.

i think that he was angered by kervezee's positive batting, the way he lost his wicket, maybe muhsfiqur was giving him a send off for doing stupidness
