Well, how many world cups did South Africa win to date? Or a T20 cup or any other tournament for that matter? Thats why they are called the chokers.. because they are the best but never finished their job when it mattered. No other team has that name tag.. Even Bangladesh can be called a Cockroach or a Minnow or a Over-Hyped or Lowly ranked.... but none will call any of the 9 teams chokers

Personally, I think South Africa can go towards the Final along with Sri Lanka but their batting will need to click. Yes, Steyn and Morkel is good thats why they are number 2 and 3 in the world! And we very well can be bowled out in 10 runs,,, nothing is impossible. My focus was on what was possible by the Bangladesh team in Mirpur..

GOOD MORNING from MIRPUR

bad news: its overcast with cloud cover, cool wind blowing from north-west. not so strong but again not so mild too.

PERFECT condition's for SA to add TSOTSOBE or PARNELL and demolish us.

the weather is similar to the day we played third odi vs zimbabwe, mpofu and shinzi masakdza was bowling unplayable deliveries to us.

now today we have Steyn and Morkel ....

We can win this match, there is a reason SA are known as chokers. They have never won the world cup/icc champions trophy and have shown that they are not capable of handling the immense pressure of huge tournaments but the reason I think they might not choke today is because it's not knock out stage yet. BD team needs to go out there and play their best, We will be happy if they can put up a fight.

Cannot believe no more matches involving Bangladesh after today in WC. With mixed emotions Bangladesh will be back in the sidelines for the rest of the WC. Waiting for the Australia tour. Hope to finish in a high note and not like the SL-NZ match today. By the way, a win is possible if SA falters.

Lol the negativity is getting on my nerve. I wish there was an option to filter out the negativity when reading this thread. here is my facebook status...I'll copy paste it here for those who still believe!

"Cheered when a Bangladeshi Batsman reached double figures in 1995. Hugged a random stranger when Aminul scored 100 in Bangladesh's debut test in 2000. Spend 100 taka in rickshaw fare looking for a Bangladshi jersey before the 1999 world cup. This is not a game; It's a religion. I'm not a fan; I'm a believer. And If the dream is not alive after tonight...we will still believe! GO TIGERS."
