Beat South Africa, then BD goes to QF
WI beats Eng, then BD goes to QF
I rather see BD beat SA to go to QF like a real tiger. It will show that we are not "meowww" anymore.

WI beats Eng, then BD goes to QF ONLY if Ireland lose to SA tomorrow or against Netherlands, if Ireland wins both Ireland goes ahead of BD.

WI : Has 6, maximum can be 10 with wins over ENG, IND. Won't qualify only if ENG beats WI, SA beats IRE, BD beats SA and IND beats WI (BD and IRE can't match NRR with WI barring some exceptional results)
SA : Has 6, maximum can be 10 with wins over IRE, BD. Won't qualify if the lose to both IRE & BD and ENG beat WI and either WI beats IND or WI maintains a better NRR than SA. Defeating IRE will gurantee B1 or B2 slot immediately.
BD : Has 6, maximum can be 8 with win over SA. If SA beat IRE and WI beats ENG then BD qualify. They can be eliminated by NRR if IRE can manage 6 as well by beating SA & NED. They can rank no higher than B2 even with a win vs. SA.
ENG : Has 5, maximum can be 7 with win over WI. Loss vs. WI is automatic elimination. A win also requires BD to lose to SA or IND to defeat WI (either will do). Cannot win group and B2 is unlikely as well.
IRE : Has 2, maximum can be 6 with wins over SA, NED. Only hope is to win both, and have WI beat ENG and SA beat BD. Can only qualify as B4.

I cannot see Ireland beating South Africa, nor can BD beat SA., will take a miracle, those Proteas have stamina and determination, and dont forget Dale Steyn, 4 yrs ago, there was no Dale Steyn.
the only chance for BD is if WI beat England, so let us all pray this happens.

The problem is with the NRR, WI being at +2.206 and BD at -1.241
But what if they get thrashed like mad both by India and England

These are the only two practical possibility for BD to qualify for QF. We can definitely try for beating SA. No point panicing with Steyn. SA had good attack even in 2007 WC. If we could beat them in 2007 why not in 2011? If we play our best, it's a realistic possibiity in our conditions.
And pray for WI to beat Eng. IRE will never beat SA so they arent up for QF fight, guaranteed.

SA will want to beat us just as badly as India did--don't forget in 2007 we didn't only spoil India's campaign, we took the wind out of the Saffers' sails as well

Dont want to look to far ahead, but qualifying as B4 will be better than qualifying as B3 beacuse we get to play the QF in Dhaka if we are B4

unless SL is A1. or is SL out of contention to top the group already.
I think we can handle SL, AUS at home. NZ we might even be favorites although their form is peaking right now.
but pakistan scares me...we haven't come close to beating them since the 99 cup.

What was your guess about the match against England? Was it a miracle the win against England? If not, that proves a win does not need miracle to take place. BD has its own strength, determination and motive as well as support wich suggest there will be good contest on that day.

At this point, we have nothing to lose anymore. So go out there and bite them (SA) for the second time, and leave all the doubt behind.

They were also the favourite to win against Bangladesh. but it did not happen.
WI are a stronger unit now, new coach and new manager not the WI one year ago, now they believe in themselves, even planning a WC victory.
