Default What has Mushy achieved?

None. Nada. Aanda. Zip. Golla. Dim. Zero. Shunno. I can go on and on. If this is the best WK we can produce then we might as well just continue to play against associate teams where he can bully around with their players. I would love to see him give the same stare to Tsosobe as he did with the Dutch player.

At least even Sir Matin played some knocks which were memorable for centuries to come.

Mushfiq is having a bad patch in his batting career now, and BCB think-tank (if they think) are reluctant to try others. The domestic tournament is of any standard where performance can convince the coach to include any one new.

We have alternatives for Mushfiq. Jahurul, Anamul, Mithun and others can some day play for the national team.

IMO for ODI we should give some chances to others and for test keep Mushfiq as a batsman for a couple of match as a test drive.

Hails!

For a change, Mushfiq has done real well as a keeper in the WC. But, as a batsman, he has become pathetic. His fans kept saying try him in x, y, z position, but he has turned out to be a failure everywhere. Aussie series may be too soon to prepare another keeper , but I sure want someone else in his place for the ODI/T20I team for the next series.

I am still willing to keep him in the Test team.

I guess, Mushy is overrated, as you said just like a lot of players in our team. But for some reason Jahirul was underrated. He's done reasonably good with chances he got... I guess some player are just not as lucky as Zunaed, Mushy, Rokibul, Ash... list goes on...

why are you so critical of Mushy.
Tell me if anyone of the players achieved anything except Imrul and Shafiul.
We failed as a team, every player failed in their role.
Stop blaming on Mushy, instead give some positive feed back as as how we can give him proper coaching to become what we want him to achieve.
I think he has done excellent behind the stamps.
Stop suggesting a new face every time the team fails.
BCB is the culprit and a serious overhaul is needed there.

Most of us have been very critical of Ash lately but I see the complete collapse of the team here and Ash would not have done any worse.
we need to do constructive criticism but not suggest a new face every time we lose a game.

He is crap but also a friend of Shakib, so I dont think he will be out of the team as Shakib is part of the selection committee.

He scored 76 against Eng and after that in next 21innings of batting his 10 best scores are 63, 40, 36, 30, 29, 25, 22, 22, 22, 13 and rest of the 11 scores are below 13. So he is not good enough for our team who also dropped catches in many matches. National team is not a academy to create player. Its the place for the players who can win us matches. After a series of failure he should be out from ODI team. Mithun Ali should get the place of him for minimum next 10 international matches. If he failed then Mushfiq can called back again. I'm not believe in too many changes but 2-3 changes should make after whatever happened there.

Why isn't Dhiman in consideration? He is scoring runs and scoring them quickly. He can be a possible solution to our PP crisis. Plus from what I've seen of his keeping, it's of International standard. Mithun is over-rated (both batting and keeping-wise and yes I've seen him play). And Anamul is still a kid.

Dhiman should not be in the team because he played in the ICL.
Pilot was dropped because we needed a batsman first, wicket-keeper second. Mushy is our Gilchrist.

I think MUSHY Is Our Best Keeper. He Has improved his wicket keeping but his batting is a concern but he will improve. My Starting XI
Tamim
Kayes
Raqibul
or Shariar Both look Nervous when they start
Ashraful (Let him play his Natural Game)
Shakib
Mushfiq
Mahmudullah
Naeem
Shafiul
Razzak
Rubel

when was the last time he scored some runs under pressure?i really like him and i think he's one f the most technically sound batsmen we have got but really,i think we should have a close substitute for mushy.for the sake of the team,he should make way for someone else, who bow that's debatable.

btw, anyone got any updates on saghir hossain?
