These girls really have a long ways to go before they can start competing with the decent teams even. Hopefully they get the ODI status because they really need some experience against these teams so they continue getting better.

Look one of the USA team's spinners bowls at us at the indoor facility nearby. She has a nifty doosra but otherwise, well below men's club-level here. I'm going to assume her team-mates are slightly better. Regardless, if our Tigresses can't handle bowling of that level, we don't deserve ODI.

BTW Women bowl with a slightly smaller cricket ball - at least that's what the one US team member I know tells me. She's in the picture below, 2nd, kneeling, from left.
