I would like Nazmul Hossain to be given an extended run. He couldn't do much worse than Shahadat.

My only regret is, he is NEVER tried consistently and we would never know how good of a bowler he is. Is Shafiul really better than him? does Shafiul's stat prove that he is better than Nazmul or Rasel or Forhad Reza? We wouldnt know... For Nazmul, he is the most under-rated player we have ever had in modern day Bangladesh cricket!!

Getting in the national team not playing, is the same thing.
Hom. It is time to test him for an extended period of time. #3 and #4 is wide open. What better opportunity would you get for testing new players at home condition? Bring him in for Pak series.
Several under 19 players from recent past can make a case for the top order position. We need a swing bowler as well.
When Riyad comes back Nasir/Naeem has to make space. I wish I could swap with Raqibul though.
I do miss Junaid for his slip fielding. SN dropped one off Shakib. That was early in the innings. Slip fielders don't grow on trees. It is a specialized position. A drop there kicks right in the nut of the team. A catch makes the difference.

Why do we have to drop either of Nasir or Nayeem??? Why don't we give the number 4 spot to Nayeem instead of deadwoods rok/ash and other?? That is his usual position in domestic cricket.
For 2/3, we have to relie on SN/JS/JI, unless we have a surprise against pak series

why drop nasir and naeem? they're both performing with bat and Nasir with ball. play all of riyad, nasir, and naeem. IMO, riyad needs ot prove his worth to teh side coming back after injury.
Home for Rock...still waiting for Imrul's and SN's replacement.

I think Junaed is the best player outside the team now. Drop SN and Rokibul.

Ashraful for Test!!
He did show a lot of grit and determination the last time he played test cricket...
I would really like to test Anamul the WK now (but purely as a batsmen)....
I can bet he would atleast do better in tests than imrul and rokibul....
And SN looks always ready to edge (although Imrul edges it more)...

We don't have any quality pacer outside national team. If Mashrafi becomes fit before Pakistan series it will be a good news for us. Imrul got lot of chance to prove himself but failed. So we can try with a new comer at this position. For number #3 Johurul Islam omi can be tried. We are lack of a pace all rounder in One Day team, Forhad reza would be a good choice for this position.

^Shamim says a lot of things.
On topic: Slightly off topic, but we badly need to weed out the deadwoods Ash, Aftab, Alok, Rock, Kayes (in Test), Rajib, Razzak.....
How many can you name more in 60s?

I like this idea. Anyone even Jaharul would put a fire under Mushi's belly.

Can anyone tell me why Mithun ali and sagir hossain get chance in the A team continuously for the last 2-3 years? I had never heard them playing any big innings in last 2 years for the A team. yet the selectors giving them chances while there is many talented wicketkeeper batsmen in the domestic level

Anamul Haque
Asif Ahmed
Nazmul Hossain (not so sure, deserves a shot)
Nazimuddin (again, not so sure, but sure worth a shot instead of Nafees/Kayes)

Fohad Reza should be selected for ODIs & T20 as third pacer.
