BDFlag new strategy!

To success in international cricket, we need talented or gifted players vs skill players, like singers who are talented are successful, with practice one can get skill, but there is a limitation how far he can go. Let's find out who are the talented players in our team. We should only include talented players in the team if we want to compete with good team like SA, AUS etc..

The team should consists of the following talented players:

1. Ashraful (talent:*****)
2. Tamim (talent:****)
3. Sakib (talent:****)
4. Alok Kapali( ****)
5. Mashrafi (talent:****)
6. Abdur Razzak(talent:****)
7. Mahmudullah (talent:***)
8. Shafiul Islam (talent***)
9. Help Wanted
10. Help Wanted
11. Help Wanted

The following player should not be in the team:

Raqibul( skill: ****, talent: *)
Mushfiqur Rahim ( skill: ***, talent: *)
Shahriar Nafees (skill: **, talent: *)
Rubel Hossain(skill **, talent**)
Imrul Kayes (skill:*, talent:no star)
Junaid Siddique (skill:**, talent:*)
Naeem Islam : (skill: no star, talent: no star) how he got selected ???????

That is the big question. The team should consists of only talented players. It is the management and captain failure if a talented player fails. Each player should be handle individually so that he can play upto his potential. For example, Sehwag has given license to play freely. If he fails, nobody ask question.

Ash has got over 150 freaking odis to prove his 'talent'. If that's not enough for him to prove it, then I'm afraid it's of no use even if he has 'talent'. Give 150 ODIs and a chimp with hands tied will average more than Ash.

Ashraful averages in his twenties in BD first class-which is quite bad and is certainly not talent

Shakib, Razzak and Shafiul at best these guys are the one that have some credibility at international level.. Shafiul is a work in progress but it looks as if he has the talent to make it big

naeem performed well with the ball imo. he seemed to be energetic and motivated than many others i would say. Nayeem and Mahmudullah should get a chance to bat in the middle order as they do for their domestic teams.

The guy who needs to get the first kick in his back side is Junayed. Keep this guy out of the team for atleast 2 years for getting starts in most of the matches and throwing away his wickets in most of them. The second in line should be Raqibul. The third one is Mushfiqur.

My best players in this tourmanet is : Rubel Hussain. i enjoyed warching him bowl in most of the matches.

We should make "amra_korbo_joy" as the chief selector. There is no doubt in my mind that he would be our ultimate selector. Bhai, "etodin kothai chilen, pakhir nirer moto chokh tule natorer bonolata sen". I think we have got the right person that jibonando dash was searching for "hajar bachor"

Hajar bachor dhare ami hatitechi prithibir pathe
shinghol shamudra theke nishither andhakare malay shagore
onek ghurechi ami; bim-bi-shar ashoker dhu-shor jagate
shekhane chilum ami' aro dur andha-kare bidhorvo nagar-e;
ami klanta pran ek, charidike joboner shamudra sa-fen,
amare dudondo shanti dia-chilo natorer bonolata sen.

Talent means more than the natural ability. Ash has the natural ability, but in terms of talent, he gets a 2* from me. Maximum. haven't you been watching him for the past 150+ ODIs?

Naeem did not have a good World Cup (batting wise) but he showed a lot of heart while bowling (except against South Africa). For you to say he has got zero talent, I would ask you to check the following link:

http://www.espncricinfo.com/bdeshvzi...iew=commentary

Also, please check his batting stats on CricInfo (both test and one day) and compare them with other batsmen in the team.

http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/eng...g;view=innings

http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/eng...g;view=innings

Bear in mind that when you bat at number 8, you bat most of the time with the tail-enders and sometimes you come towards the end when you just have to swing the bat to get some runs.

It's a pity we never tried Naeem/Mahmudullah at number 4 (or 6) for an extended period of time. It would have allowed us to play an extra bowler. That's how we beat NZ, Zim last year!
