We have the tendency to throw this word without even thinking twice....

Well BCB might be generalized for not being competent but where did u see corruption? I did not read abt any such accusation on media.

So could you please what lies on coach. You are either Siddons or a pupil of Siddons who learned the trick of blaming others for his fault

fault maybe lies in with BCB for having no batting coach. but the thing that annoyed/amazed me most about siddons is this, when his xi for the world cup was set, he said to the other players: "you are the back up player, i dnt have time for you".

evabe bola uchit na kono player kei. that is a big fault indeed!

The question is whether he said it that way..or player are saying it to the media...or media is saying it coating it with their usual way of overhyping ...so it would be wise not to rely of one published interview article published on a daily...We are going away from the actual fault to very minor problems...though minor problems need to be addresses...but we have bigger problems to fix...BCB deals with bigger problems so we need to concentrate on that...

Head Coach running a team for his own ego and not in the best interest of the team IS A MAJORE ISSUE.

There are other issues to be tackled with BCB but using that to shield the Head Coach issue is not acceptable.

Well then! Then we need a lot more coaches. Start coaching kids from age 5. After 10 years of coaching they are bound to become good players. I actually think we need Ian/Fountain type coaches at the academy level, so we can first sharpen players with skills.

Cant we have major in cricket coaching and earn degree followed by some jobs in traning academy? We are a cricket mad nations, we should not have problem with sponsorship.

Who is the nater guru, Siddons or BCB? - Answer: BCB
Who brought Siddons as head coach but not batting coach? ANswer: BCB
Who is responsible for our domestic infra-structure,so poor: ANswer: BCB (it started from Faruk/Lobi to Loitta/Rafiq)
For whom Nannu/Bulbul prematurely droped from test for young kids and end up being 2003 WC: Answer: BCB

Ultimate credit goes to BCB, if we do great, and blame also goes to BCB, if we do bad.

But, BCB is also human (lol) and the hind sight, they got our cats to make them tiger.

look what john wright has done with NZ...our domestic is much competetive now...blaming bcb is just a foolishness., though jamie's appointment was a huge mistake...look at our premier league many world class players are coming to play here...we've better infrastructure than srilanka or pakistan... The main problem is last 4 or 5 years our domestic is much stronger but jamies did'nt do any scouting at all..shuvo, shafiul, imrul they r all from our domestic..they r performing well..but when our coach used to play test, odi, t20 with the same team so blame goes to jamie.

kinda disagree with few statements but blame goes to both...sticking with non performers and also not taking care of the rejects, overall there were many mistakes...but world class players are not coming as they used to (why they will come when they go to ipl) and also lanka got a better structure and Pak got more talents.

Collapsing from 108-2 to 172 all out on quarter final game... kind of unforgivable! Can we forgive a team team like that?

i can agree with some points here, pak has more talents coz they're playing cricket from the 60's so time matters, imran khan also created the history after winning wc...srilanka got better after winning wc...so whatever ur structure is A national team has to believe, we have to do something special what whatmore+ranatunga did, what imran+intikhab did...so we badly need a legendary captain &inteligent coach...But the investment we did in this wc will make us better test playing nation...

JS is the batting coach. What are you talking about?

Have to disagree about Sri lanka and pakistan infrastructure, they are much better than Bangladesh, no comparison, they also find new talent all the time and train them properly. What does BD do? Stick with the same players and dont train and give other players a chance.
Also, Sri lanka Cricket Board under Arjuna and Ranatunga pays a decent salary to even the squad of the A team, in all, they have 90 members on the payroll, even the U19 players get some money for their Kits. BD does not bother to pay anyone, except the top national players.
HoW do these cricketers from the A team and other teams earn money? Would someone on this forum enlighten me?
