Who have been our most consistent batsmen over the last year?
Looking at teams performing in the worldcup. I feel most teams have specific players who are consistently performing well over a period of time:
Example: Amla for SA, Taylor for Newzealand etc
Who have been our prolific batsmen over the last year?

Tamim is getting into a good rhythm of scoring ducks.
That would be some consistency...!!

Imrul Kayes it is indeed!
http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/eng...s;type=batting
in the last 1 year, from Jan 2010 to now, he scored 1000+ run, with an average of 33. shakib and tamim come next, with junaid. mushfiqur rahim hasnt played well, and u can see that. mahmudullah's average is high because of the not outs he has been in.
jahurul is the bright light, he played less than half of ashraful's matches, and scored the same amount of runs, with an average of 31.
incidentally, mashrafee's average is better than ashrafuls.

I'll throw in Shakib's name because from 2010, if you look at scoring during our WINS, Shakib has a 43.22 average with 1 century and 2 50s. Tamim is 2nd with 39.12.
Make the list based on G8 teams (regardless of W/L), Imrul is top with 34.25 (Excluded Juhuruls 39.00 as it is from 2 ODI innings only)
And if its Wins vs. G8 (4 NZ and 2 ENG) , Shakib is 49.2, Imrul is 45.5. Note that Tamim drops to 28 behind Riyad, Shafiul & Nafees and of course Juhurul.

According to Head Coach it is Junaid, he is capable of breaking Sachin's record within next four more years.
