Lee just got replaced by Haddin. A lot of people thought that he was indispensable and had a guaranteed spot in the lineup as one of KKR's international players. The decision may backfire and it may only be for one match, but it will keep all the international players on their toes. They have to contribute something in every game. It has been a while since Shakib has gone into a team knowing that his place is always at stake. The focus over the last couple of months has been Shakib the captain, Shakib the media spokesperson, Shakib the columnist, Shakib the actor - maybe this change in dynamics and scenario will allow Shakib the player to shine through.
