Alok is out of sort, in his first match in a while he's given the task of scoring 12 runs/over. Of course his timing is off, he needs the time to settle in international cricket playing against teams like Zim....not Oz.

its not about our satisfaction... its about choosing the player with right mentality. Most of our players are over rated here. Look at Kapalis batting. I know he is back to the team after long time. but the situation is different. either you hit from the first ball or die trying, we still got plenty of batsman to play.

wrong.. he should have send earlier that could settle his eyes, no way first match after two years you are gonna hit from the first ball on that situation, mind that it is Australia..

Just like this guy said on Cricinfo:

Boris: "Game 1- zero intent to chase down a tough but gettable score. Game 2- Outdone by a great innings but just kept feeding Watto in his slot, never believed. Game 3- Chasing a big score, showing intent, and then shutting up shop after they lose a couple of wickets. Its pretty clear what the problem is. They dont think they can win. "

and also look at his average... high teens.... and look at the rest of the batsmen, they are on around 30... Nafees may be an exception, but he had the highest average anyways when he left for ICL. so on an average Jamie has added 60 runs to the teams total... and that is an improvement... another 60 runs, you are as good as anybody really !!

I'm also one of those fan who wants every player plays shots but as you said right mentality thats to is tested here, he should be given chance to get back his confidence that what matter here.. He has the tough mentality but need the right situation to revive !!

I'm not saying he's a good batsman, I don't want him in the team either because I think he's over hyped. But I got to be fair to the guy.
