Cricinfo Scorecard ScoreCard

Random Factoid: The First Ever International Match that was played here, Chaminda Vaas Inflicted more pain to Bangladesh, than IBM Watson did the other did day. Full Circle for the Captain, hope a substantially much better result for him this time

Might be a Washout who knows, think all the rain will happen at night, should get a full 4days worth of play

Somebody better Score a Hundred! Or else

If were lucky we might experience two Bangladesh Batting Collapses occuring simultaneously! How Lucky are we

I expect Rajib to get a game and us to compete better in this match.

It was a selfish act by Ashraful in the last match, he shouldn't be anywhere near the A B or C team, he should retire and be the coach of Bangladesh women's team or can possibly join their team.

rajib should come in for rasel.

one batsman (ashraful or mehrab) should be dropped for Saqlain/noor

Rajib would add more bite to our pace attack so no question he should come in for Rasel. If Ash weren't captain then I would drop him but since that's not the case, Mehrab should probably get the drop for Noor. I'm expecting a better fight this match but our batsmen have got to show more fight then they did last match.

Saqlain should play imo, SA pitches have good turn and bounce. Can't trust Ashrafool and his crappy part time bowling. He has been in top form as well, probably the best bowler in this NCL season.

Who is munna?

Seems like a batting pitch. Hope we can get a good score when we bat. And by good I mean 250+.

Would like to see both Shahdat and Rasel.

Rasel bowls tight, creates the pressure. That's why Mash managed to pick up so many wickets when Rasel played with him

Not very happy with Rajib's performance. The cricinfo bulletin said he leaked runs and his stats show that. Sadly he's our best test pacer as well. There is no doubt about his ability but he really needs to be more consistent. And Ash should bowl Nasir more after an impressive performance last game. Let's see how we do on day 2.

I disagree. Sajib doesn't extract much turn while Noor can. I know Sajib's stats look a lot better. However, Noor in the last A team tour in the List A matches had a much better outing then Sajib. He had an average of a 38 and an economy rate of a 5.21 while Sajib had an average of a 67 with an economy rate of 5.77. Those stats I rate higher then the FC stats.

That's why we should take the consideration of how the players do in the A team a lot more then the NCL. Doing well in the A team shows that you have a future in international cricket. Performance in domestic matches should just get you in to the A team, not the national team.
