Shakib did pretty well today but he has to continue to perform well. Out of all the foreign players picked today, Narine, Morkel, and Kallis are locks in the side and Shakib is the most vulnerable. He's done well usually with the ball but needs to fire with the bat if he wants to keep getting matches.

Big win for KKR,
Sakji's bowling figure looks impressive but to stay in the team he needs to do more.
He is not that much of a wicket taker like Narayon, so if he gets an opportunity to bat he better score enough.

You need to stop following IPL and finish your homework. That way you will be using your time wisely.

I guess Shakib wont be playing next few matches..... 1 run, 1 wicket, barely economic. Narine rocks.

Ya he really needs to get going with the bat. With KKR batting line up he will never get a chance at the top of the order. So he'll have to make the most of whatever chance he gets lower down the order.

When you ve 8/9 balls left you can't do much I'm afraid. For shak I don't think he ll promote soon unless top orders fail. He needs to contribute more to retain his place. Furthermore he ll be benched at some point to give some opportunities to chris, russel and others.

I agree today he didn't have much time to get settled so it's not really a failure with the bat. Hopefully he bats well according to the situations.

But in these cases he needs to be smart. In last match the ball he got out was the last ball of malinga and he easily could have guided for a run to play the whole next over of anderson.

However I was wondering if anyone saw this video.. shakib seems to be having a good time with his wife

Shakib now appears to follow Afridi's batting style. He needs to practice bowling more. He needs to add some more variations and occasionally spin the ball a lot!

Shak should use his brain more to control his shots and play according to match situation.
