There was a mini-contest too on show: Shakib Al Hasan, Bangladesh's captain, who saw Watson wreck their side only few days back was entrusted with the task of bowling at him. Shakib himself had only gone for 26 runs off 20 deliveries to Watson on that day and so, it wasn't expected to be a one-sided contest. Watson heaved Shakib for a straight six in the 14th over and slog-swept him over wide midwicket for another six in the 17th over. Shakib slowed up the pace on the next delivery, kept the trajectory flat, and Watson was bowled as he missed another attempted slog sweep

Shakib usually has memorable wicket-taking celebrations because he's sometimes really expressive like when he took Nathan McCullum's wicket during the NZ series or really stony-faced like he was after that great ball to dismiss Bell in the Test series against England in England. But I think the celebration to dismiss Watson might top all of that, since he's just been smashed about by him at home and as he's toppled him from the top of the ODI Allrounder rankings. Someone's been watching WWF!

I think Shakib will start in playing XI from now on. Gambir trusts him with the bowling.

Good start by Bossman! That was fun to watch. Finally an IPL match that I actually followed and cared about.

What a performance by Shakib! Very proud of him. Now he should be in the lineup for a while now. Also it should give him confidence playing with such a strong team. Let's hope he keeps this up!
