We got Japan all out for 38 from 28 overs. Suktara and Salma took 5 wickets each. So a very easy win looming.

বাংলাদেশ ক্রীড়া শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের (বিকেএসপি) মাঠ দুইয়ে বি গ্রপের খেলায় টস জিতে ব্যাটিংয়ের সিদ্ধান্ত নেয় বাংলাদেশ।

ব্যাট করতে নেমে অধিনায়ক সালমা খাতুন ও শুকতারা রহমানের ঘূর্ণিজালে বিভ্রান্ত হয়ে ২৮ ওভার ৩ বলে ৩৮ রানে অলআউট হয়ে যায় জাপান। মাত্র ৪ ওভার ৪ বলে কোনো উইকেট না হারিয়ে লক্ষ্যে পৌঁছে যায় বাংলাদেশ।

আয়েশা আক্তার ১৫ ও শুকতারা রহমান ১৪ রানে অপরাজিত থাকেন।

এর আগে জাপানের পক্ষে সর্বোচ্চ ১২ রান আসে মারিকো ইয়ামোটোর ব্যাট থেকে। এছাড়া আর কেউ দুই অঙ্কের ঘরে পৌঁছতে পারেন নি।

জাপান ৯ রান যোগ করতে হারায় শেষ ৮ উইকেট।

সালমা ও শুকতারা নেন ৫টি করে উইকেট। এ জন্য সালমা দেন ৫ রান। শুকতারা ৯।

That was a really quick match. Good job but next game will be tougher. Irelands got the ODI status. If they can manage to win that, then our girls woulf have achieved the ODI status which would be huge.

righttttt! I am happy for our kids. I am sure they enjoyed playing with the Japanese dolls! Will be there at BKSP to watch BD vs IRE match live! Getting ODI status is all I personally expect now.

"১০ উইকেটের এই জয়ের ফলে শীর্ষ ছয়ে খেলার পথে আমরা একধাপ এগিয়েছি। পরের ম্যাচে আয়ারল্যান্ডকে হারিয়ে সেরা ছয় নিশ্চিত করাই আমাদের লক্ষ্য," যোগ করেন তিনি।

নিজে নিয়েছেন ৫ উইকেট, সমান সংখ্যক উইকেট নিয়েছেন শুকতারা রহমানও। এ ব্যাপারে তিনি বলেন, "জাপান পেস বেশ ভালো খেলে, কিন্তু স্পিনে বেশ দুর্বল। সেকারণেই দ্রুত স্পিনাররাদের নিয়ে আসি। তারা ভালো বল করেছে।"

"উইকেট বেশ ভালো। উইকেট থেকে স্পিনাররা সুবিধা পেয়েছেন," যোগ করেন তিনি।

জাপানের সঙ্গে এর আগেও খেলেছেন সালমা। সেই অভিজ্ঞতা থেকে প্রতিপক্ষকে বেশ শক্তিশালী হিসেবেই বর্ণনা দিয়েছেন তিনি।

"বাছাই পর্বে খেলতে আসা কোনো দলই দুর্বল নয়। এই পর্যায়ে দুর্বল কোনো দল নেই," যোগ করেন তিনি।

এটাকে বাংলাদেশের সবচেয়ে বড় জয় হিসেবে বর্ণনা করেছেন তিনি। তিনি বলেন, "এর আগে কখনো ৫ ওভারের মধ্যে কোনো ম্যাচ জেতা হয়নি। এশিয়ান গেমসেও জাপান আমাদের বিপক্ষে ৬৭ রান করেছিল।"

বাংলাদেশের ফিল্ডিং ও ব্যাটিং এই ম্যাচে আগের ম্যাচের চেয়ে অনেক ভালো হয়েছে বলে মনে করছেন সালমা।

তিনি বলেন, "আমাদের ফিল্ডিং বেশ শক্তিশালী। আজ তারা বেশ কয়েকটি ভালো ক্যাচ ধরেছেন। গত ম্যাচের তুলনায় ব্যাটিং ভালো হয়েছে।"

I think this is wrong as well. ATN is suppose to show matches at Fatullah and BTV is going to show the Mirpur matches. Atleast that is what I have read a few days back
