still too early to vote. Law put the team on cruise, now he is gonna turn off cruise control, and start implementing sth.
maybe in 6 months.

u know, BC fans are not that blind...siddons tried to sound optimistic.....couldnt still get enuf support...law here has given us disastrous results...but people know that the coach has little to change within a few weeks..but what he has done is to talk abt what we all keep on talking overhere in these forums and even expect.....lets see how he goes on to fulfill those..but till, everything seems to be more or less on track

He just became our coach. Its too early to judge him.
Therefore by default I am Pro-Law.
I see some good trait and some hard to explain decision (For example why Ash and why letting him play #3 in 5th ODI?).
I will wait and see and re-evaluate him after another series.

Voted "pro", but too early to form a FINAL opinion.

I voted pro.
I believe our players also need to utilize their brain as well. Otherwise, the best coach in the world will fail.

Voted for pro atm cus liked his approach about mind change etc. Can't rate him good or bad so early.
I also believe players equally responsible for match results, coach is only a light but they have to follow it to reach destination. If light isn't powerful followers will lose track. It's now time to see how good is our "new lantern".

NB: All Characters and events here are purely fictitious...Any resemblance with either dead or living is purely co-incidental
Stuart Law to Rajjak: why do you occasionally bowl Leg Side ?
Rajjak: bad habit
Law: let the series end, you need to work on stopping the leg side bowling
Law to Tamim: hey man, watched ur centuries vs England, u can bat well, bat whats happening now ???
Tamim: feeling some pressure to play somthing extraordinary.
Law: u need some attitude tuning, we will work when we are back at home after the series.
law to Riad: watched some of ur videos, some excellent knocks and some sissy knock ......
Riad: actually i get puzzled in the middle .... what should i do. i lose belief that i can do what team wants. so i start playing for my averages.
LAW: another case of mindset and attitude .......
LAW to Junaid and Imrul: hey buddies whats up:
Junaid: we were Siddons' best pupil
imrul: we want be urs too, tell us what to do ?
Law: play for the team, play for ur country, DONT PLAY FOR THE COACH, can you do it ???
both junaid and imrul: aaaa, uuuu, eeeee
LAW: perform in the field, not in the nets .......
law to shafiul and rubel: both of you are young and you try too much, u need to work on consistency, i will show you, also looking for a good bowling coach. i will make sure you are well prpared for WI
law to nafees and ashraful: whats ur problem ......
nafees: i am not sure whether i am still good for this level
ashraful: amar problem to keu jane na, keu bujhe na, but perform korte partesi na
Law: looks like these are hopeless ..... i need to have one more look.
law to shakib: (confidential)
finally ....
LAW: these are a nice bunch of people, but too much emotion, very little application and determination. need to work hard to rectify their attitude and mindset ......... anyway now need t prepare for the stupid questions for BD press and the need to tackle the ignorant BOARD directors, i am loving this challenge......

A neutral option needs to be added to the poll.
I'm on the fence for now. Maybe would've said pro had it not been for that strange decision to leave out Ash in game 4 and then bring him back in game 5. What's up with this inexplicable love affair with Ash every one of our new coach seems to inherit from their predecessor! By now even any level headed Ash supporter would agree Ash needs to be left alone until he earns his stripes by performing consistently either in the domestic league or where ever it is that he plays. It can only benefit both the team and Ash himself. By rushing him onto the scene when he's not ready, the coach is doing disservice to both. I can understand playing him in the test match, but why play him in ODIs? and if the idea is to play him in ODIs then why leave him out in game 4 and then bring him back for game 5? What kind of message is he trying to send here?
For the record, Ash has scored a total of 180 runs in his last 16 ODI innings in the last 20 months at an average of 11.25 with his highest score being 31. In this series his average has been 7.66 in the 3 innings he's played.
It reflects indecision on the coach's part -- a trait some of our past head coach's reputation has been marred by. I hope in time Law will prove this a one time lapse in judgement and I too look forward to jumping on his band wagon, but as i said it's still early days.

I became "pro" ever since that "then you look stupid" comment. Also the way he helped us turn things around in Bulawayo, the critical absence of Vitori notwithstanding. He cares and won't take shite from delusional Waqads, no matter where they are, because they still have L-O-N-G ways to go.
From the looks of it at this early stage, he does more than he talks and lets results, not weak excuses and pitiful spin doctoring (chapabaji-usila) speak for themselves. He also doesn't seem to be a compulsive vacationeer, a nepotist and intellectually lazy. AND he doesn't pass the buck!
Why?
Because he actually played for Australia and was good enough to be known as a good player at the highest level. Totally different from a loser who never had the right attitude to play for the Oz.

Siddons didn't have "the right attitude to play for the Oz" is news to me. Warne rated him among the 50 best cricketers of his time.

I am starting positively i liked his coaching philosophy as he wants to make the team independent. He said to all the players and management that this is your team you need to learn how to learn how to run your team when i am not here. You all need to be independent.
