Indian embassy website hacked by BD hacktivist!

Dhaka, Sept 9 (bdnews24.com)—The website of Indian High Commission in Dhaka has been hacked by unknown 'Bangladeshi hacktivist'.

It could not be confirmed when the site was skewed.

However, the hacking is unlikely to hamper visa processing since the mission has a separate website for it.

A message on the site, http://www.hcidhaka.org/PRDetails.php?id=139, read: "This [...] site is been Hacked. Hacked by Bangladeshi Hacker…"

Another message apparently revealed what prompted the hacking—the aborted Teesta water-sharing deal that Indian prime minister Manmohan Singh was supposed to sign during his recent Dhaka visit.

It said: "September 8, 2011
Hacked by Bangladeshi Hacker

This site has been hacked by Bangladeshi hacker.....

India,Stop boarder killing. We are human, not bird. Its your responsibility to be friendly to Bangladesh.

It said: And Listen MAMATA, if you would have some common sense then you would not want to give us 25 % water.Come Bangladesh and visit the rivers. Currently peoples are harvesting paddy in the river. Rivers are becoming dead day by day because of your Policies.

We want to be your friend. Its your decision if you want to be our friend. Proud to be Bangladeshi...."

The much-hyped pact had to be stalled after West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, a key ally of the ruling Congress, raised objections.

Manmohan on Wednesday also lamented the failure in his speech at the Dhaka University saying that it was 'unfortunate'.

The Indian High Commission later shut the site, and the message read: "The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later."

A week before Manmohan's official visit, the website of Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi was hacked on Aug 29 by a little known group which calls itself "Co-Cain Warriors".

Simple SQL Inj3ction attacks to crack these sites. Seems like a job of some script kiddies(!). Still, very effective.

Forget about RAW website Rabz bhai. They don't even have a public website! So, no one can notice a hack!

Bangladesh Govt. should be careful as Indian hackers are trying some co-ordinated attacks on BD Govt. Websites. Can anyone tell me what are the cybercrime laws in BD?
