11.2
Nasir Hossain to Powell, OUT, what a stunner. Powell's gone to a piece of Muralitharanesque mystery from Hossain. Tossed up, curving in, pitched on leg stump, gripped, spun and beat the outside edge to hit off stump and leave the batsman completely befuddled. All similarities with Murali ended there, as Hossain celebrates with an ugly WWE gesture - the DX chop to be spedcific. The crowd seems to like it, though.
KOA Powell b Nasir Hossain 25 (36b 4x4 0x6) SR: 69.44
Slip in place, over the stumps. Pollard is not going to like these conditions.
11.3
Nasir Hossain to Pollard, OUT, Two balls back Nasir had no ODI wickets. Now he is on a hat-trick. Tossed up outside off and turning in, draws Pollard forward and he helpfully pats it back to the bowler at a perfect catching height. Windies in big trouble now.
KA Pollard c & b Nasir Hossain 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00
CI : The famous win against WI...WI bowled out for 61 by Bangladesh

His over with 2 vital wickets of Powell and Pollard was the match turning point for me. Can someone upload his gem of a delivery to get rid of left handed Powell ?

I always said he is far superior bowler than any other offspinner in the team. A right handed Al hasan

Once again he's shown that he's got a mature cricketing head. I just hope it's not hit by a hammer (be it of failure or success).

That delivery against Powell was just amazing. The way he turned that ball. I see him having the potential to being a very good bowler. Hopefully he continues to bowl well in tests. And gotta love that celebration. I was cracking up when I saw that. After that kind of delivery, he deserves to be happy about it.

Can't believe it's my first post in this thread.
Anyways, although Shakib got like what...yet another MoM by wiping the poisonous tail out...Nasir double really swayed the match in our favor.
On better days, he could've easily got the award.
GREAT find for BD.

Remember Shakib started as a batsman, who can bowl a bit. Then he turned into a cleaver bowler who is very handy with the bat. Then his bowling took over his batting.

I agree, his two top order wickets were vital. Can't believe he's just 19?!

Random question: Do any of you think that he is still bothered by the Keegan Meth incident? I ask because I remember reading somewhere that Oppi was really affected by his role in the death of Raman Lamba. Given that he's so young, I wonder if it plays on his mind...

Here what Mr. Utpol Shuvro had to say:
Quote:
