happy to see that he didn't turn out to be a bits and pieces of AR like Nayeem and Riyad. he has worked very hard with his batting and he is getting the result now. hope he continues like that and give up bowling at some point since mushy doesn't bowl him anyway

Well he's the only Bangladesh batsman that averages over 40 in Tests and ODIs, he certainly has something that Tamim and Shakib lacks.

Add to that he averages over 30 in T20Is. Greatest start to a career in Bangladesh history.

he is a run machine, i know we never say that for a BD player.
He has amazing temperament ,but still it's so disappointing to see him getting out on 90s twice in this series, two test hundred is not a joke.
Knowing that we play so few test matches.
I still don't see anything exceptional in his techniques, just goes to show what good temperament or positive mind set does to a player.

I have always been a fan of this kid since his debut and not too fussed about his technique as I believe he will find his own technique the more he plays. I seriously wish Siddons was here again as under him players like Tamim, Nasir, saqib would've benefitted.

Scored the 2nd highest number of runs in a 2 match series 263, just 5 short of Tamim's 268. Third overall behind Haba.

he could bowl too, should have been given few overs to eliminate the need of mediums to bowl at the death of the game.

I stopped watching after Anamul was dismissed, and I knew Nasir would soon go as well because he wasn't even taking his time to settle after successive wickets while Narine and Permaul was getting alot of turn. He tried to go for the shots already.

His average is sliding fast. terrible series for him so far. Though I am still confident that he'll come through in the next couple of games.
And this 'bowl Nasir' thing is getting really annoying. Look up what happened the last few times he was given the ball. He is no bowler.

He is terrible. He bowls so many of those short-pitch loppa ones that he might bowl a double bounced delivery sometime soon.
But the point is Naeem isnt any better (1-2 super short pitch deliveries every over). Mushfiq can very well use Nasir for 2-3 overs somewhere in those middle overs and save some of the overs for our key bowlers for later...
