Lets not forget he has just started out his career. He has only played 6 test matches and 19 ODIs. Yes he has proven himself and remains an asset to the middle order but in my opinion i wouldn't say he is the most consistent in BD history just yet. He has a long way to go to really have a wonderful career at this point in time.

He should bat at 3 in BPL so he can set himself and all that. Also will give us a clear idea if he can bat at 3 at International level.

Yes he should bat earlier in the batting order in BPL.

He has not done well when batting earlier in international matches. He needs to do it in domestic cricket.

Consistency is a relative phenomenon as such you have
no chance to get carried away with that.
The moment that post was made it was based on the history till that moment only. As future is uncertain my message can carry value as long as Nasir continues to play like this. With all my unwillingness if he starts to deviate that won't stop the message for being true for that particular moment when it was posted.
So, by far he is still the most consistent among all the batsmen of BD cricketing history. His tiger shaped heart was well exposed chasing with a poor batting line-up against muscled DG bowling for a nonchalant 80 which is really authentic compared to any other BD batsman to date although for a losing cause.
Similarly I value Milon's cool batting and pairing with Chigumbura which help Sylhet rise like a phoenix.

Nasir has proved himself as a vital asset all throughout his relatively short career in the international arena. What he needs to do now is play in different conditions especially swinging conditions. This would help him further enhance what seems to be a solid technique. Work hard, gain experience and I see a good future ahead for this talented man.

Yeah he doesn't have "solid technique" - but he has good cricketing brain and adapts to the situation well - which is more important than mere technique. He's probably more comparable to Dhoni (has more 'correct' technique than Dhoni obviously) than say, Clarke. Or much, much more closer to Shak-fu.
IMO the most 'technically correct' (which doesn't imply 'better', BTW) batsman in the team now is probably Riyad.

Love it! I too noticed that he constantly uses "ar ki" as a filler. The last few times I heard his interviews, it drove me up the wall.

I agree with you. Technique is useless if you don't score runs. Ultimately, it's about scoring and Nasir and Shak do that pretty darn well...and above all, consistently!

Him and Anamul will be the best 2 Bangladesh batsman in the next few years but as long as Anamul can sort out his footwork (hopefully Ponty will sort that out) Anamul will become the best batsman of Bangladesh followed by Nasir. I gave up on Tamim just another version of Ashraful but averages 10 runs higher than him.
We still don't have a batsman who averages over 40 in either ODIs or Tests but both Anamul and Nasir look very likely to exceed that at International level.
What we need to do now is mix some of our Cricket pitches and create fast bowling programs which is a must in Cricket.

Well he was quite a handy off-spinner until he joined the national team. I think coach's has done the right thing by concentrate more on his batting. But I agree with you about him bowling occasionally specially in domestic cricket he should bowl few overs regularly.

he has been consistent, just needs to work on converting to the ton, if he can do that then he will do even better. bowling in domestics would be good, he has some talent but definitely needs to work on his consistency with the ball so bowling in domestics more regularly would help him.
