Nasir is cool under pressure, but cant play any balls outside the off stump due to lack of foot work

Technically very poor but he has the guts to succeed.

MSD himself does not boast a good technique but the runs comeby easily from his bat

Although Nasir and Shamsur both were great and were two of the best performers in the game, neither deserved the MotM award. Ross Taylor did.

why just because he scored a 100 in a batting pitch? for a player from a losing side to win a mom had to do something extra ordinary thing... he did not

Nasir is one of our best and he won us the game at end like he did in many occasions. But shamsur deserved the mom. It was a tough call but Shamsur and Nayeem provided the foundation for Nasir

Seriously?

He may have a bit un-orthodox technique. But seriously technically very poor? This is a new information for me.

He has some similarities with Shakib in batting style. Both of them are very agile and read the delivery early and react well to that.

Cricket has changed a lot mate. If someone doesn't play copybook cricket, doesn't mean that he is technically poor.

The award is called Man of the Match, not Man of the Winning Team. It should go to the best performer of the match. Taylor was better than Shamsur. The only argument against Taylor receiving the MotM award could be that he was dropped by Rubel early on, not he played for the losing side.

And our management (especially in the JS/pre-JS era) would make #4's bat at #8, #3's bat at #7 and so on. There's a reason why people specialize in this world.

Thats.my observation.

He seems to be lacking in that department hence his inability when it comes to dealing with the outswingers. Better than Anam or Zia though

he makes.it up by his ability to soak pressure and ability to hit trough the line. Will get exposed overseas

However his batting ability is improving day by day. When he first faced malinga he looked like a fish out of water. Much comfortable facing him in the last series.

He is due for a match winning knock, or some sort of big knock. I was not really impressed with his test performance.

I think if those 2 calls had not gone against him in the test series that we may well have seen one or possibly even a couple of match winning or big knocks from him.
