Not sure what kind of HP Laptops/PCs you two had. I had a HP PC for 6 years (bought it in 2000) until I gave it to my Nani, who still uses it to send me emails! A good friend of mine has had a HP Laptop from 2006 and it still works fine, despite taking it on a number of rough backpacking trips. I've always had the impression that they're quite sturdy and durable.

8.50 am, Day 3 Hello folks, bad news to start off the day: It is even worse than yesterday. There was a heavy squall of rain last night and early this morning. The entire ground is under the covers, but they are soaked to the bones, if covers can have skeletal systems. Next inspection at 9.30 am, ie. in 40 minutes, but we are in for another long wait for action.
