Even if Riyad isn't playing I would still drop Imrul. What's the point of going in with a batsman that will score a max of 20? Rather we should bring in Nazmul so that he gives us an extra option for bowling. And then move everyone up the batting order.

the countdown to the match is surely wrong, according to it, the match starts tonight eastern time but according to cricinfo, the match starts on friday night. Can anyone confirm this, I would love if it started tonight.

Intersting,, why would you want to drop Nafees or Raqibul, who scored runs in the last test? Nafees scored a fluent 50, Raqibul 40... what did they do to deserve a chop? Also, why would we want to overuse a 19 year kid when he maybe much needed for the ODIs against Pakistan next month?..

the logic is a bit confused.

Hom will go to A team only if he is not selected for the WI test. not he will not be in WI test because he is with the A team.

no, if he is selected for the second test then he won't go with the A team to West Indies.

My XI would be:

1.Tamim Iqbal
2.Naeem Islam
3.Shahriar Nafees
4.Roqibul Hasan
5.Mushfiqur Rahim
6.Shakib Al Hasan
7.Nasir Hossain
8.Shuvagota Hom
9.Elias Sunny
10.Shahadat Hossain (give him his last chance, if he fails then leave him out of the Pak squad)
11.Rubel Hossain

This team means we will have a strong batting line up from 1-8, as there is a chance we may have a collapse during batting

Imrul will not be dropped. According to Shakib, current XI is okay.

Exactly my prefered team, not necessarily my batting order though.

I would try SN at #2 and Naem at #3. I would let Hom bat #5 or #6. If things goes right Hom bat @ #5, if things get wrong Rahim can bat ahead of him.

I wouldn't select Hom, if I use him @ #8, I would rather select a bowler. To me Hom is a batsman, so we we select him, we need to find a middle order for him.

In the 2nd innings if we need to address RR to win, we can promote Sakib, Nasir and Rahim ahead of Naeem and/or Rakibul.

I'm not convinced that Fidel is fit enough to last another five-day Test....

He could be replaced by Roach.

I think the count down clock is incorrect. Its showing 6 hours to begin the match. However match does not start until tomorrow. Please confirm.

It does start tomorrow in BD at 9:30am which is 11:30pm tonight in US eastern time. So the clock is correct.
