U can put the names you wish to, but I wish to see a genuine bangladeshi team like that. no mini allrounder, who can bat a bit and bowl a bit, They can't and will not win a match for BD.
The problem is our think-tank does not think like that. Perhaps think is the wrong word.

They chose the players and then try to arrange their positions and hence we see the cluster-fVck we do.

It is quite clear [at least to me] that the Pakistan bowling attack is a very strong and balanced one. It is not heavily pace dependent like SA,Australia or West Indies attacks... neither is it heavily spin dependent like India, Sri Lanka attacks. They have an equal edge on both departments and on top of that they have the variety and knowledge of how to succeed on sub continental tracks.

For our current batting order it is simply too much to ask to attack this pak bowling line up since even Sri Lanka didn't manage to do it. I would rather focus our strategy to attacking their batting and restricting them to a below par score. I think on our wickets our spin attack can strangle pakistan top order if somehow we manage new ball wickets through our pacers. Lets face it Imran Farhat is no Bradman... neither is Ashad, Hafeez a Shane Watson or Sehwag. A decent pacer should be able to get Farhat out and bring yunis to the crease early.

Yunis and Misbah are the glue of Pakistan batting order... the rest can all be reckless. If we can develop a strategy to counter these two we might have a chance of bowling pakistan out to that below par score we are aiming for.

Nasir
Riyad/Naeem
Razzak/Sunny
Nazmul/Shafiul/Mash
Rubel

and we are 1 batsman short

Yup I liked that attitude too but suddenly remembered that once in a situation like that Shakib was smiling and chatting with someone (he was trying to keep himself cool just the way he used to sing before coming to bat in his earlier days) but after losing the match everyone was asking for shak's head !!!! So no matter how cool Nasir is if he doesn't perform in 1 or 2 matches everyone will ask to drop him. That's how we make someone superstar overnight and throw them away the very next day. I just don't want that to happen to this young fellow. All my best wishes for him.
yes within no time we make a player hero to zero.how people criticising shakib after zim toure like he is a national villen.if shakib does any below avrage performace in wi series.many people would shouting at the top of their voice drop shakib.shakib performance shut their mouth.even though you see how people bashing shakib for his out in 2nd inings of 2nd test.every media tries to describe its our main reason of the defeat.but they overlooking our drop catch, avrage bowling problem.
i can see a great all rounding prospect in nasir.we are allready starts to depended on him and praising him.it reminds me the early days of shakib, tamim carear.but i hope we will continue to support him even he faces some hard time in future.i hope we won't try to find negative thing in everything what he does in future.like some people try find a negative thing in every work of shakib, tamim did.i hope our media will show more responsibility.and will try to highlite his positive things more than any thing negative.
finally i hope people will also consider before blaming some star player for the defeat that it is 11 player game.if only 3-4 people perform in the team and other 7-8 player can't perform you can't blame only to 3-4 performing player's little failure.while totally ignore the big failure of 7-8 non performing player and give them penalty.every 11 player has responsibility.you can't only blame to the star player.other player also has responsibility don't forget that.

Where are supposed to get one of those? The last guy I remember playing in Bangladesh colors, claiming himself to be a medium-pace bowling all rounder, was Mushfiq Babu. I'm not very sure though, correct me if i'm wrong.

Calling Farhad Reza an all rounder is like Calling Mitchel Johnson an all rounder. Oh wait, no. Mitchel can actually bowl and bat.

I don't kniow what Farhad Reza can be tagged as. However, "Decent Cricketer" is not one of them, that much I can assure.

Farhad Reza's role in the team is like hiring a kajer beti , who can cook a bit , wash a bit and clean dishes a bit and even sucks doing all those 'bits'.

We desperately need proper cricketers . Some one who can either bowl well or bat well. Too many bits and pieces in the team.

Alok actually bowled a pretty decent spell in the T20, and he brings in the wrist-spinning option to the table, so I'm going to be in favor of his inclusion in the squad - but he should be batting at 6 or 7. seriously.

I'm far from being a SN fan but he might be a good option in the circumstances. We are looking at potentially 30 overs of spin (if we manage to bat 50 overs) and SN doesn't get bogged down against spinners and uses the sweep shot fairly well. Although with two off-spinners, sweeping against the turn can cause problems.

Important for BD batsmen to go back to basics

Forget trying to blast every ball.

Collect runs in ones and 2s - even that can easily get you 4-5 min per over. That is enough to put pressure on any opposition

Keep wickets to the 35th over then accelerate

You have a good bowling attack - your batsmen just need to do the basics right and for Gods sake - dont get run out - thats criminal gift of wickets.
