Default Match thread : 2nd Test : Bangladesh vs Pakistan at SBNCS, DHAKA, Dec 17-21, 2011

Although 17-21 DEC is mentioned in the TITLE, chances of it being 17-19 dec or 17-20 dec is highly likely.

anyway after we celebrate our Victory Day on 16th December, Will we start this game and we will be heading for another loss ???

this will be the last international game of cricket for us in this very bad year of 2011. will we end this year with our Worst Performance ???

we opened lots of Match Threads with lots of passion, colors, hopes and wishes ..... but in most cases it has brought us sorrows, disappointments and angers. will this thread be same ???

anyway have some nice time in the Last match thread of the year

Yes, we'll probably lose by an inning again. If not by an inning, it will still be a significant margin.

From eProthom Alo.
It is not that Nazimuddin learned - It was his natural play, and he was well trained. I hope Law does not muck around with him. Law is mucking around with the batsmen - they are much better than this. And what type of defeatist comments from Ash - Bhaggo - arey bhalo khel aar bhaggo tor pechoney dourabey. Bolod.

If they know, then why they don't do it. Don't they have general conscience and partriotism in the month of December!

Or their spoiling very good life and bhaat ghum. Or is it like..ghoosh khaile goonah hoi sobai jane..tar poreo sobai beshi koira khai.

Nice thread, indeed.

So most likely Rubel will be out,,Rubel probably makes ways unless selectors go for Forhad. Will Ashraful retain his spot for the farewell match? If not, the selectors should probably go for a batsman who can bat spin the best since spin is the weapon Pakistan is using the most.. I think that need can be met with Alok Kapali who is a sharp fielder and can also bowl leg spin take few wickets.

Changes needed to be made:

Nafees Out -> Kapali in
Ashraful out -> Naeem in

Kapali's problem is that he can't score quickly that's why he struggled in ODI's, he takes a little bit of time to get going like Riyad...to me it seems he threw his wicket away by getting impatient and trying shots without getting set. in tests, this shouldn't be a problem.

Nafees is a good batsmen, but he has a lot of technical issues(many if them are getting exposed nowadays) i think he has been given enough chances to prove himself, maybe one last chance? I wouldn't mind either way...

Asahraful just has to go...no comment!

actually never mind about post #16

I want to make the following changes:

Ashraful out -> Naeem in
Nafees out -> Dhiman Ghosh in(far better batsmen than Kapali at the moment + inform)
Rubel out(injury) -> Rasel in.

the rest remains same!
