What Shakib highlighted in an PA interview is that both of these guys can get the ball through really quickly - and this has made it harder for batsman to go down the wicket to them. No doubt this helps them create the dot balls and pressure. Kudos on both.

they still seem very ordinary to me...i haven't noticed much from them in terms of flight, drift or even massive turn. granted their lines and lengths are almost always spot on, along with rehman's as well.

Who cares that you rate them or not.... The whole world rate them, & Ajmal is rated by whole world as a best spinner in the world. so they don't need your ratings, you can keep your ratings with you & feel happy.

we are talking about the bowlers rating, I don't think being an all-rounder effects their bowling ratings

Your mind-blashting batsmen scored 3.03 runs/over against shitty player Shakib in the ODI series. What does that say about your batting?

I don't think any of us called Ajmal an all time great, but to call him ordinary after the @$$ whopping he delivered to Sri Lankan is totally uncalled for

I never claimed we have a world class batting line up, but seriously come back when he takes 5 wickets against us

he bowled well...sure, whatever floats your boat, is he better than Steyn in odis..... hell no and neither is Hafeez. When I said screw this rating system, I really meant it. And just because two Pakistanis are topping the bowling ranking does not change my opinion.

Calm down you whole lot and NO bad language hidden with asterisks!
-As Mod
Depending on the wicket, I might take a Ajmal or Shakib over a Steyn. Trust me, on some of the treacle-slow, dustbowl wickets out there, Steyn's extra pace would just kill his ODI economy rate. Currently BD being pwned by Pakistan's spinners of that fact there's no argument. Just as there should be none that Shakib is clearly the one bowler rated by the Pakistani think-tank and as such they have been very circumspect against him - on all formats.
Asaad, Ajmal's like Mendis. You have to face the guy to realize how he messes with your head I guess.
