Australlia bowling really well here and now seem to have the slight advantage.

This is going to be a cracker of a series, as Ravi would say. What a great comeback for the Aussie quicks taking 7 wickets in session one of day 2. No doubt it'll be a closely fought contest from start to finish and I think whoever wins the first test will win the series 2-1.

This Yadav guy is a FIND. 3 top order wickets in each innings. The definition of strike bowler.

I agree...this guy Yadav seems like a real find. He's taking the Aussies apart and has definitely put India on top for the time being...like many of Australia's recent matches, this one promises to produce a result in less than 3 and a half days

Yes, but pace needs smarts. Mohammad Sami is the quintessential example. On the other hand, I don't see Nazmul Hossain going very far as a Test bowler. Its too bad, Rubel and Rajib can't ever get any wickets.

What a test match this is...both teams with the just the right amount of frailty to never feel safe, and keep things interesting.

Australia need a lead of 250 to be competitive, anything less and I think India win this with a few wickets in hand.

A really even Test match. Don't agree with this being Indias game. Hussey is still there and Pattinson is no mug with the bat. If they can get the total up to 280-300, it would be a very tough ask for India. India's going to have to focus on getting these 2 wickets as quickly as possible and try to chase around 250 or so. Looking forward to an exciting finish

Australia lead by 230 runs with 2 wickets remaining
Stumps - Day 3

If Oz can take their lead past 300 ... they are going to win most likely .... this year we had so many well fought test match ... i feel lucky!

anything close to 250 - India's favor!
