Even as a chittagonian I dont believe CTG has a very good chance to win BPL. But if, tamim had the form he had in 2010, i would definitely change my mind

Tamim getting into a fight with Dean Jones or even Mahatma Gandhi wouldnt surprise anyone,, he is not known to be the most polite kid and especially when is off-form, he is most likely be irritated and act like a moron..Nevertheless, I am glad that he had this off-form now because it will make him and the national team realize that Tamim has miles to go before acting like a Diva or a la-Shakib!!

Media prolonging and trying steer something out of nothing of Tamim. Lynchmob.

Dean Jones (Shewag type) was one of my favorites after Viv and S Waugh.

It'd be sad if Dean Jones has indeed been sacked for not getting along with Tamim. Team unity is more important than star players. And Chittagong were top of the table without the help of Tamim. And I'm not getting good vibes about Tamim. His career is not heading in the right direction. After what he did in 2010 this is not where he should've been today.

‘Jones’ contract expires on February 21 as he has a commitment in India. Any report about his dismissal is untrue,’ said a team spokesman.

Why say/translate untrue? When we have a word called "false"? Media people are worthless.

Team officials' statements are no better. They ruled Tamim out of the tournament only for him to play the very next day. Can't guarantee anything unless it comes directly from the mouth of the man himself, Dean Jones. And there is no smoke without fire.

according to Cricinfo, Brendan taylor signed up with CTG. That means Jahurul is gonna be out of the team for his poor performance.

Looks like Brendan Taylor is going to take Jahurul's place with Murali getting dropped as well. On the one hand I'm happy because our batting will get a boost on the other I would've liked to see Jahurul perform so that he could finally get some runs on the board and secure his place in Bangladesh ODI AND T20 team.

I think this should be the squad:

tamim
taylor( R/L combination comes handy)
Jamshed
Jason Roy
Riad
Ziaur
Bravo
Farhad/shamsur
Cooper
Arafat
Enamul

3 spinners, 2/3 medium pacers, and good batting line up...this is what the Kings need urgently

I think its the lack of cricket for which he has underperformed. It would be wise for the Kings to drop him and bring on some1 like shamsur(played well 2 matches ago, dont get y he got dropped) or even Reza.

i think he has improved and also to emphasize on the fact that he played in Bangladesh A LOT. At least he wont throw his bat around without control like jahurul..

Here we have a team like Chittagong who are near perfect but still trying to improve with good signings. But we have teams like Syllet and to some extent Burners who have deficiencies all over the place but not trying much rather than shuffling with captaincy and some captaincy experiments

Jaharul is not the problem. It is Tamim. Chit has enough top order batsmen. They need bowling.

I like your XI. I would have Farhad instead of Shamsur in the side.

Good to see they got Taylor. Time to bench Jahurul. He was a real disappointment in the BPL. His approach is completely wrong and didn't expect that from him as I thought he was a smart batsman. He's literally just throwing his bat at everything and his RBW has been bad too, way too jittery. Taylor is a class batsman who has multiple gears. I believe him along with Tamim can be a very solid opening pair.

Id pick Brendan Taylor over jahurul any day. This guy has got experience and also has been INFORM lately. Jahurul hasnt done anything to be honest and in such crucial moment of the tournament its better that he is dropped and some1 much better is given a go

I would still pick him in my ODI XI and let him face the music. He has done well in the DPL and we're in desperate need of a #3. But he is a big no no for T20's.

Who needs Brandon Taylor when you have Raza Ali Dar?
