Shehzad - the ovation he received from the fans(all not just Barishal supporters) in the stadium was deafening - of course it was nothing like what Afridi got...but Shehzad at least earned his plaudits

Afridi has been playing at Dhaka since he was almost a kid ( not really but since the mid 90s) and he knows how popular he is at Dhaka... even more than his own home country, I think.

Shehzad single handedly pulled Barisal this far and carried the torch from Gayle. Yes, bringing Brad Hodge as captain was the key decision and Phil Mustard also played a meaningful role. However, if BB wins the title or not, this BPL tournament will be remembered for few really underrated players who eclipsed their reputation beyond Jayasuriya, Sohel Tanvir, Murlitharan, Gibbs, Bravo like players. Ahmed Shehzad is top of that list!!

Bolsilam na Pola Shehzad is a real deal.

He played pretty well when he was playing for PAkistan last year but then he was dropped... I don't know why. Should be playing for PAK against ENG in ODI and T20, instead he played in BLP and charmed the crowd while PAK struggled in ODI and lost T20 series.

Same is true for Sami also. he looked better than other PAK national FBs except for Gul in ODI and T20. He is still pretty fast.

I think they, BBs rely too much on 1 cricketer.

The locals where very ordinary starting from icon to guyz like Shuvo

Mominul played good in 2 innings only but was crap otherwise

No heart burning for BB... That was great entertainment for the fans. WELL PLAYED ... VERY WELL PLAYED BURNERS.

You have played some superb cricket and made the first edition memorable. Thanks and I'm not disappointed for not winning the cup, you have already out performed our expectations by reaching the finals.

Thanks for all the entertainment and looking forward to the next season. I have enjoyed the tournament as a BB fan thoroughly .. The tourney started with BBs and Ended with BBs... Also thanks to all the fans who posted here, Double Bs To No Bs....

During auction BB was the only team who relied heavily on young local players unlike DG, KRB who went for big shots. But sorry to say, local young players disappointed them and cost them the trophy.

But it was a great journey following BB. If they can go to this far with bhangachura team, then they can hope better result in the next tournament.

Congrats to Barisal Burners for being Runner up in the 1st BPL Competition.
